大変不合理な面が残されていた。 In a machine tool that continuously processes a plurality of tools with different shapes and dimensions while automatically exchanging the tools, it is necessary to supply cutting fluid to the optimal position for each tool. To do this, it is necessary to change the spray direction of the cutting fluid spray nozzle every time the length or diameter of the tool changes. Conventionally, an operator changes the position of the nozzle each time the tool is changed so that the cutting fluid is sprayed at the optimum position. This left a very unreasonable aspect in that a machine tool developed for the purpose of saving labor and manpower still required manual work by the operator.

However, in previous proposals, the size of the tool, such as the length, is stored in the control device in advance, and the size of the tool is retrieved from the storage device according to the tool number commanded during machining, and the nozzle blowing direction is determined in the calculation section. The method was to perform calculations and give control commands to the blowout device for control, but there was a problem in that specifying the angle by calculation did not necessarily allow the cutting fluid to be sprayed to the optimal position.

When cutting, the optimal spraying position of the cutting fluid itself changes, and the relative position between the spraying position of the cutting fluid nozzle e and the optimal spraying position also changes, so the spraying direction of the cutting fluid nozzle e, that is, the spraying angle, does not change. This means that the cutting fluid cannot be sprayed at the optimum spraying position. To deal with this, a rotary actuator h is used to change the spray angle of the cutting fluid nozzle. The cutting fluid spraying angle to the optimum spraying position can be fixedly set according to each tool. Therefore, if you select and memorize the spray angle of the cutting fluid nozzle for each tool before starting the automatic continuous machining process,
By using a device that automatically adjusts the angle of the cutting fluid nozzle each time the tool is changed, continuous automatic machining can be carried out without requiring any manual work.

The spray angle of the selected cutting fluid nozzle is inputted as a voltage signal from an angle detector f, for example, a potentiometer, to an analog-to-digital converter k, converted into a digital signal, and sent to a control section m. In the control unit m, for example, a microcomputer, a digital signal representing the spray angle of the cutting fluid nozzle and a signal representing the tool number commanded by the numerical control device of the machine tool at that time are read, and the data for the commanded tool is read. is stored in memory n as .

The data corresponding to the cut tool is read out, and compared with the angle signal of the cutting fluid nozzle e inputted through the analog-to-digital converter k at that time. A signal is sent to the motor g that drives the motor g, instructing the rotational direction and rotational drive. The rotation command to the motor g is continued until the angle signal sent through the analog-to-digital converter k due to the rotation of the rotary actuator h matches the data read out from the memory n.
When they match, the rotation command is canceled and the motor g
stops. The cutting fluid spray nozzle is thus automatically adjusted each time the tool changes to the spray angle set for the current tool.

Send a signal to r and rotate motor g to change the nozzle angle or select a new angle, and store it in memory n in the same way as above, so you can change the spraying angle of the cutting fluid nozzle or use a new tool at any time. Data such as numbers and cutting fluid nozzle spray angles can be stored.

An analog signal or a pulse signal related to the cutting fluid can be fed back and compared with a target value in the control unit to position the cutting fluid nozzle.

ことなしに、加工動作中に行なうことができる。 According to the present invention, the nozzle angle is stored together with each tool number using a playback method, so the operator visually sets the nozzle angle to spray the cutting fluid to the optimum position for each tool and stores the data. The nozzle angle can then be adjusted for each tool based on the stored data. According to the present invention, the position of the nozzle can be adjusted using data obtained by actually moving the nozzle,
There is no need to change the program to specify the angle for each tool as in the past, and since it uses a playback method, even if the cutting fluid spray angle conditions for each tool change, the spray angle can be readjusted each time. This can be done during machining operation without changing the machine tool's NC program.
