Grass nibbling work can only be done on one side of the bed at a time, resulting in poor work efficiency. The upper part of the blade protrudes from the top of the bed during work, so it may hit the lower leaves of the planted vegetables and damage the leaves, or the blade may damage the leaves. It had many drawbacks, such as putting too much force into it and damaging the roots of vegetables with the cutting edge, impairing their growth.

There is something to do.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a pair of approximately triangular plate-shaped blade bodies made of aluminum, iron, etc. and spaced apart from each other on a frame 2, which will be described later. The body 1 has a rounded side and lower side that will come into contact with the field bed 6. Reference numeral 2 denotes a frame, and the frame 2 has a rectangular shape and includes a blade mounting plate 2 in which a plurality of width adjustment holes 2b are bored in the longitudinal direction.
A round or square pipe-shaped handle mount 2c is fixed to the center of a to attach a handle 4, which will be described later. 3 is a fastening body consisting of a bolt 3a and a wing nut 3b. 4 is a handle of appropriate length, made of wood.
It uses synthetic resin, pipe material, etc. Numeral 5 is a bolt/nut for fixing the handle 4. Number 6 is a ridge-like mound of soil in a field, number 7 is vegetables, and number 8 is weeds.

As shown in Fig. 3, a pair of blade bodies 1 are attached to a blade mounting plate
By changing the width adjustment hole 2b of a, the blade mounting plate 2a can be moved in the left-right direction and the width can be adjusted to suit the spacing of the beds 6. Moreover, the blade 1 can be rotated freely by loosening the fastening body 3 and the angle can be adjusted, so if the blade 1 is fixed in line with the left and right slopes between the beds 6, the optimal shape will fit between the beds 6. becomes. When the weed gnawing device with the blade body 1 adjusted in this way is used to gnaw weeds, the weeds 8 that have grown on both sides between the beds 6 can be gnawed in one operation, resulting in extremely high work efficiency. The grass gnawing load from the left and right sides of the blade 1 is applied equally to the pair of blades 1 separated from each other, resulting in good balance when pulling, and the rounded sides and bottom of the blade 1. Unlike conventional methods, the blade 1 will not dig deep into the soil and damage the roots of the vegetables 7 depending on how much force is applied, and since the blade 1 will hardly protrude above the top surface of the bed 6, the lower end of the vegetables 7 will not be damaged. There is no need to worry about damaging the leaves.

At the same time, there is no fear of damaging the roots and leaves of vegetables 7 even when the grass is nibbled on any vegetable 7.Furthermore, since the blades 1 are spaced apart, the fertilizer can be applied almost to the center between the two beds 6 before nibbling the grass. When the grass is sown in a scattering manner, and the grass is nibbled with a grass nibbler, the blades 1 do not touch the fertilizer, and the soil on both sides of the bed 6 is scraped out with the blades 1 on both sides. The fertilizer is covered with soil, which prevents the fertilizer from flowing and improves the effectiveness of the fertilizer. It is extremely practical as it can be done at the same time as the grass nibbling work.
