It releases heat and becomes a liquid refrigerant.

It becomes a refrigerant and enters the compressor 1. At this time, since the air heat exchanger 3 has a lower temperature than the outdoor air, condensed water is generated on the surface of the air heat exchanger 3 and remains on the drain pan 6.

め、多くの労力と費用とを要する。 However, in recent years, there has been an increase in the use of waste heat from building exhaust air as a heat source for air conditioners in order to save energy. In the case of a conditioner, a special foundation must be built to prevent the floor from getting wet, or the air conditioner must be modified to prevent drain from falling under the lower drain pan 10, which requires a lot of effort and expense.

改良された空気調和機を供する点にある。 The present invention was proposed in view of these circumstances. The upper part is an air heat exchanger room where an air heat exchanger is installed, the lower part is a machine room, and drain pans are provided at the bottoms of both. In an air conditioner, there is an opening at the bottom of the drain pan in the machine room that has an upwardly protruding flange large enough for a drain hose connected to the drain pan in the air heat exchanger room to pass through, an opening with a removable plug, and a plug or drain. This air conditioner is characterized by being equipped with a drain outlet on which piping is detachably installed, and its purpose is for both indoor use and outdoor use in cold regions. Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved air conditioner that can easily handle drainage.

ない。 Since the air conditioner according to the present invention is configured as described above, when it is installed indoors or outdoors in a warm region, the drain hose connected to the drain pan of the upper air heat exchanger room can be connected to the flange that protrudes upward. If you place it on the drain pan of the machine room without inserting it into the opening that has a section, attach a plug to the other opening, and connect the drain pipe to the drain outlet, the drain from the upper part of the air conditioner and the lower part of the machine room will be removed. Condensed water from the parts is collected on the drain pan in the machine room. One opening of the drain pan is provided with an upwardly protruding flange portion, and the other opening is closed with a stopper, so that the drain on the drain pan does not flow down onto the foundation and flows through the drain outlet. When used indoors, there is no risk of wetting the floor.

By blocking the drain, the drain from the top of the air conditioner and the condensed water from the parts in the lower machine room are allowed to fall onto the foundation and are guided to the drainage channel without being cooled and frozen by the low-temperature outside air.
