A conventional handle device for discharging flush water from a low tank for flushing a flush toilet has an arm for operating a float valve extended downwards at the tip of a shaft that is rotated by the operation of an operating handle, and the amount of rotation of the shaft is reduced by 2.
Normally, there are stoppers on the left and right that regulate the height of the shaft. The arm is directly connected to the shaft that rotates when the handle is operated, so it requires force to operate the handle, and the arm is attached to the tip of the shaft facing downward. Due to the tension, the handle can only be attached to the tank wall so that the neutral state is facing downwards, and for this reason, it is used in flush toilets with a toilet lid, where the center of the low tank for flushing serves as the support for the open toilet lid. In this case, there are disadvantages such as limited mounting locations and difficulty in steering wheel operation.

are integrally stretched so that the wing parts 3a and 3b are extended from both sides of the middle part, and the shaft 2 is attached to the mounting board 5.
It is rotatably supported by a bearing cylinder 8 with a keyway 8a, which is fitted in a mounting hole 6 with a key 6a transparently provided in one side so as not to rotate, and is tightened with a nut 7. There is. Reference numeral 4 denotes an arm for operating a float valve whose base end is pivotally supported on the other side on the back side of the mounting board 5, and the base part of the arm 4 aligns the mounting board 5 with the back side of the tank wall 9. When attached, the operating handle 1 is supported by the arm support piece 3 extending horizontally, and in this state, the operating handle 1 is in a horizontally extending state. In the figure, reference numerals 10 and 11 denote a stopper mechanism consisting of protrusions 10a and 11a disposed at the end of the shaft 2 and temporary surfaces 10b and 11b formed by cutting half a circumference at the end of the bearing cylinder 8. be.

This structure is used by attaching a chain or the like to one of the attachment holes 12 provided at the tip of the arm 4 and connecting a float valve to the lower end of the chain. When the arm support piece 3 is pivoted upward, the arm support piece 3 is pivoted via the shaft 2 so that the wing portion 3a on the side of the pivot point of the arm 4 is raised, and the arm 4 is pivoted, so that the arm support piece 3 is connected to its tip. On the other hand, when the operating handle 1 is pivoted downward, the arm support piece 3 is moved through the shaft 2 so that the wing portion 3b on the opposite side of the pivot point of the arm 4 is raised. As the arm 4 is rotated, the float valve is raised, but the amount of pivoting of the arm 4 when the wing section 3a rises is because the wing section 3a is on the pivot point side of the arm 4. Since the amount of pivoting of the arm 4 when the other wing section 3b rises is large, the length and position of the wing section 3a are set to correspond to the displacement for urination, and the length and position of the wing section 3b are set to correspond to the displacement for urination. By setting the amount of water to correspond to the amount of water discharged, it is possible to switch between two methods: one for feces and one for urination.
Moreover, the pivoting of the arm 4 is not directly connected to the shaft 2, which is rotated by the operation of the operating handle 1, but is performed via the arm support piece 3, which is rotated by the rotation of the shaft 2. Pivoting is based on this principle, so no force is required for the rotation operation, and there are no parts where failures can occur.
The neutral state can be set up with the operating handle 1 extended in the horizontal direction due to the weight of the arm 4 applied to the arm support piece 3, so the toilet lid can be installed on the side that does not interfere with opening the toilet lid for flush toilets. It is easy to install on both sides, and there are no restrictions on where it can be installed, and there is no problem with steering wheel operation. In addition, as shown in the figure, a bent portion 4' in which the proximal portion of the arm 4 is slightly bent is provided.
If the mounting center of the operating handle 1 and the pivot center of the arm 4 are at the same level, the device can be used for both left and right use simply by rotating the mounting board 180 degrees.

As is clear from the above description, the present invention does not directly attach the arm to the shaft that is rotated by the handle operation, but pivots the base of the arm on the side of the shaft, and attaches the base of the arm to the shaft. The handle is supported by an arm support piece, and when the handle is rotated, the arm is pivoted via the arm support piece, making it possible to perform the flushing water discharge operation for urination and urination extremely smoothly. This, combined with the advantages of simple structure and low failure rate, is of great practical value.
