来たすという欠点があつた。

すると共に上記弁体の注入口側内面を支持する受
圧板を設け、且つ上記弁体の放射状切り込みを、
上記受圧板の土質改良材通過用開口の数に応じて
複数本設けたことにあり、かかる構成によると、
壁面より外方に向かつて土質改良材を注入でき且
つ外方からの土砂侵入を防止し得るので、従来の
ような土砂による注入口の閉塞が無くなり、従つ
て掘削工事を支障なく遂行できる。

る。なお、9はカツタヘツド3の回転駆動装置、
10はリボン状スクリユ羽根11の回転駆動装置
である。そして、上記シールド本体2のスキンプ
レート2a、カツタヘツド3の面板3a、圧力室
5の傾斜内壁3b及び圧力室後部隔壁6には、滑
材、泥漿等の土質改良材の注入口12が形成され

案に係る閉塞防止装置14が設けられている。こ
の閉塞防止装置14は、第2図及び第3図に示す
ように、注入口12の外面側に形成された環状凹
部15に押えリング16を介して取付けられると
共に中央部に複数本の放射状切込み17が設けら
れた可撓性材料(ウレタンゴム、天然ゴム、樹脂
等)から成る弁体18と、この弁体18の注入口
12側内面に位置してこの弁体18の切込み1
7,17間の可撓部18aを支持する受圧板19
とから構成されている。勿論、上記受圧板19に
は、可撓部18aの数に応じて土質改良材通過用
の開口19aが複数個設けられている。なお、第
2図及び第3図において、上記可撓部18aを4
