The present invention relates to a label printer that prints information corresponding to the weight of an article on a label. As is well known, in recent years supermarkets and other stores have increasingly been displaying products in packages with labels recording the unit price, weight, price, etc. By the way, this labeling is very complicated, so when the weight of the package is measured, the price is calculated by multiplying the weight by a preset unit price, and these data (item data) are printed on the label and issued. Label printers that do this have been awarded prizes. According to this, the worker only needs to attach the issued label to the pack. Further, each item data corresponding to the issued label is stored and added to the memory for each product, and these can be printed as reports in various formats. In this case, each product is assigned a code called a product code (hereinafter simply referred to as a code), and item data is managed based on this code. This code is divided into, for example, a small block Ba, a medium block Bb, and a large block Bc as shown in FIG.
200... forms a small block Ba, 0~200, 201~
400... is medium block Bb, 0~400, 401~800...
...is a large block Bc. For example, raw products and processed products can be divided into large blocks Bc.
Among raw products, meat products and fish products are divided into medium blocks Bb, and among meat products, beef and pork are divided into small blocks Ba. Now, when item data managed based on such codes is printed as a report, there are thousands of possible formats.
For example, when printing the product name corresponding to each code, item data such as unit price, number of backs, weight, price, total data for each block, etc. as a report, (1) Print order of item data, that is, code order. , specifying whether to print in order of back count, weight, or amount; (2) specifying the aggregation range, i.e., specifying the total within large, medium, or small blocks; (3) printing items In other words, product name, item data,
(4) If graph data is specified in (3), specify whether to graph back data, weight data, or amount data; (5) Print block i.e. , Specifying whether to print each specified data across all blocks or only for some blocks, (6) Print block code, i.e., if some blocks are specified in item (5). , specifying its first and last codes, (7) specifying the total data category, i.e., whether to print the daily total or cumulative total, (8) specifying the total data mode, i.e., addition mode or non-addition mode. A huge number of report formats are possible depending on each specification method, such as specifying whether to print total data. Table 1 shows these specifications, their parameters, and the number of formats that can be created by combining each parameter. ×2=4096 types of formats are possible. In conventional label printers, the manufacturer had selected and set several report formats in advance from among the many report formats mentioned above, so there were cases where the user could not print a report in the format desired. . In view of the above circumstances, the present invention provides a label printer that allows the user to set a report format, thereby allowing the user to print a report in an optimal report format.

Key switch 6- for switching the operating mode of the device
It consists of 2, 6-3. Further, each display area in the display section 5 is constituted by a liquid crystal dot display, and can display arbitrary numbers, characters, symbols, etc. Next, each output signal of the measuring section 1 and the operating section 6 is as follows.
As shown in FIG. 4, they are supplied to a CUP (central processing unit) 12 via a measuring section interface circuit 10 and an operating section interface circuit 11, and are also supplied to a label printing section 4 and a journal. The printer unit 7 prints on labels or paper based on print signals supplied from the CPU 12 via the printer interface circuit 13. In this case, the label printing section 4 and the journal printer section 7 each perform thermal head printing, and as a result, like the display section 5, arbitrary printing of characters, symbols, etc. is possible. The display section 5 performs display using display signals supplied from the CPU 12 via the display section interface circuit 14. In addition, 17 shown in FIG.
Programs used by CPU12 have been memorized.
This is a ROM (read only memory), and 18 is a working RAM (random access memory) in which various data are temporarily stored. Next, as shown in FIG. 6, 19 includes a preset memory 19a that stores preset data such as product number, unit price, product name, etc. corresponding to each code, a report table RTBL, code, unit price, number, weight, etc.
This is a file RAM that is composed of a tally memory 19b (corresponding to the tally memory d in FIG. 2) that stores item data including amounts and the like by code. Here, the report table RTBL is the first
This is for pre-registering and setting each parameter shown in the table, and has the configuration shown in Figure 7, with one table being
Starting from 12 bytes. One table defines one report format, and in this embodiment, up to 50 tables can be registered. Further, each table is assigned a report number and arranged on the file RAM 19 in the order of the report number. Next, the total data of the articles corresponding to the issued labels is totaled and stored by code in the total memory 19b. In this case, there are four types of total data: daily total and cumulative total in addition mode, daily total and cumulative total in non-addition mode. Therefore, there are four types of total data for one code, and since each total data is a constituent element of another item data, there are ultimately four types of item data for one code. Then, these item data are aggregated and stored in the aggregate memory in the order of label issue. Note that this RAM 19 is backed up by a battery and is non-volatile. 20 is a P-ROM (programmable ROM) in which character patterns of various characters for display and printing, ie, hiragana, katakana, alphanumeric characters, and general-purpose kanji, are stored as dot data, and each character data can be read out. is performed using a predetermined character code (1-3 digit numerical code). Note that the product name stored in the RAM 19 described above is composed of a string of character codes. Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. First, the operation when setting the report table RTBL will be explained, and then the operation when printing the report will be explained. (1) Operation when setting report table RTBL. After the operator sets the key switch 6-2 shown in FIG. 5 to the total mode, the keyboard section 6-1
When the product name is pressed while pressing □% (shift key), the CPU 12 starts executing the report table setting program stored in the ROM 17, and displays "Report Program" in the message area 5-1. Next, when the operator presses the fixed amount button, "Report code set" is displayed in the message area 5-1, and the user waits for the report number to be input. If the operator presses, for example, □2□3 product number, report number 23 will be input and the message area 5-
1 is displayed as "Report code 23". Next, when the operator presses the fixed amount, report area 5
-1 has “Report code 0 Pack 1 Amount 2
"Weight 3" is displayed. This is a display asking you to select one of the four parameters mentioned above. Here, if the operator presses □1, for example,
The CPU 12 writes parameter 1 to the print order location in the area corresponding to report number 23 in the report table RTBL (see Figure 7), and writes "Report" to the message area 5-1.
"Pack order" is displayed. Next, when the operator presses the fixed amount, the message area 5-1 displays "Small block total 1 nil 0". This is a display asking you to instruct whether or not to perform small block aggregation. Here, if the operator presses □0, for example,
The CPU 12 writes parameter 0 (no small block aggregation) in the aggregation range of the area corresponding to the 23rd report in the report table RTBL (Fig. 7), and writes "no small block aggregation" in the message area 5-1. is displayed. Below, the parameters corresponding to the specified items shown in Figure 7 (and Table 1), namely print items, graph data, print block, block start code, final code, total data classification, and total data mode, are set by the operator. are input sequentially,
These are sequentially written to a predetermined location in the area corresponding to report number 23 in the report table RTBL. In this way, after entering all the parameters, when you press the fixed amount, message area 5-1
``Report program number 1 number 0'' is displayed. This is a display asking you to press □0 if you wish to continue setting the report table. Here, when the operator presses □0, the above-described program is repeated, and when the operator inputs □1, execution of the report table setting program ends.
In addition, if you make a mistake in the settings in the above operation, you can start over from the beginning by pressing the unit price. In this way, the report table RTBL can be freely created by the operator on the user side, thereby allowing the user to print a report in his or her desired format. This report printing operation will be explained below. (2) Behavior when printing a report. For example, when printing a report according to the format of report number 15, the operator
After setting the key switch 6-2 shown in the figure to the total mode, when each of the □1□5 product name keys on the keyboard section 6-1 is pressed, the CPU 12 starts executing the report editing/printing program stored in the ROM 17. , "Report code 15" is displayed in the message area 5-1. Then, when the operator presses the total button, "15 code reporting in progress" is displayed in the message area 5-1, and
The process shown in the flowchart of FIG. 10 is performed, and the report is printed. That is, the CPU 12 stores the report table RTBL corresponding to the specified report number 15.
15 from the file RAM 19 and write it to the working RAM 18 (step 8 in Figure 8).
SP1) Edit the report according to the parameters stored in this table RTBL15. First, in step SP2 of FIG. 8, the item data stored in the tally memory 19b in the order of the items for which labels were issued is rearranged in code order, and then in step SP3, the data is sorted from the tally range column of the report table RTBL15. Whether or not the summation is performed in blocks, and
If so, decide whether to do so within a large, medium, or small block. Furthermore, in step SP4, it is determined from the printing order column of the same table RTBL15 whether the item data should be printed in code order, pack number order, weight order, or price order. When the printing order of the tally range is determined in this way, the item data is rearranged in the specified printing order for each lowest tally block in step SP5. For example, if medium and small blocks are specified as the aggregation range and pack number order is specified as the printing order, the lowest aggregation block is a small block, and for each small block, the product name with the largest number of packs is Total memory 1
They are arranged on 9b. And the next step
At SP6, the total data to be printed is determined from the total data category and total data mode columns of the report table RTBL15. That is, it is determined which of the four types, daily total and cumulative total in addition mode, and daily total and cumulative total in non-addition mode, is to be printed. (This is done by reading the flags in the tally memory 19b shown in FIG. 6).
In this way, when preparations for printing are completed, the CPU
12 starts processing of the print routine PRNT (FIG. 9). In step SP10 of FIG.
2 initializes a numerical value k indicating the lowest total block number and a numerical value i indicating the order of item data in the lowest total block to 1. And report table
From the print block column of RTBL15, it is determined whether to print the entire print or only print a predetermined block (block designation) (step SP11),
When specifying a block, the first block number k to be printed is set (step SP12). Next, steps SP13 to SP16 are for printing the item data and total data of the k-th lowest totalization block. In this case, first, in step SP13, the total data in the k-th lowest totalization block is created, and then the item data printing routine ADP shown in FIG. 10 is processed. That is, the steps in FIG.
At SP30, the print item column of the report table RTBL15 is checked, and if there is a request for product name printing, the product name is printed at step SP31.
Thereafter, the print item columns are checked one after another, and when there is a request to print item data, the item data is printed (steps SP32 to SP33), and when there is a request to print graph data, the graph data is printed (steps SP34 to SP33). SP36). In this case, the type of graph data (whether to graph the number of packs, weight, or amount) is determined from the graph data column of the report table RTBL15 (step SP35). In this way, 1
When one item data is printed, the ninth item data is printed again.
Returning to step SP14 in the figure, 1 is added to the numerical value i in order to print the next item data.
Then, when there is still item data to be printed in the k-th lowest summary block (step SP15), the item data is sequentially printed in loop l1 consisting of the item data print routine ADP→step 14→SP15. Print. In this way, once all the data to be printed in the aggregation block has been printed (step
SP15), in the next step SP16, print the total data in this total block and add 1 to the value k.
Addition and set i=1 (step
SP17), proceed to print the item data in the next lowest value aggregation block. In this case, the step
Determine whether a block is specified in SP18,
If there is no block to be printed, it is determined in step SP19, and if there is, it is determined in step SP20 whether all the blocks to be printed have been printed, and if there are still blocks to be printed, it is determined in step SP13 to SP18.
Loop l 2 consisting of SP19 or step SP13
~ Print all data by circulating loop l 3 consisting of SP18 and SP20. In this way, once all the data to be printed has been printed, the step
At SP21 or SP22, the total data of all the data printed above is printed and printing of one report is completed. FIGS. 11 and 12 are diagrams showing examples of reports printed according to the above embodiment. First, Figure 11 is a report with report number 11 (therefore, the report table is RTBL11), and the print order column of this report table RTBL11 is set to "Amount order", and the print item column is set to "Graph "Data", "Amount" in the graph data column, "Whole print" in the print block column, and all other parameters are set to "None".
is set to . Therefore, the totaling is performed for all items for which labels have been issued, and the items with the highest totaled amount are displayed in the order of graphs. For example, in FIG. 11, the item with the highest amount is code 3, which is approximately 250,000 yen, and the percentage of the total amount is 25.1%. Below, graphs are drawn for all items for which labels have been issued in the same manner (that is, all items stored in the tally memory 19b). The bottom column shows the total number, weight, and amount. Note that the "*" mark in the graph indicates the cumulative percentage value. Next, FIG. 12 shows a report with report number 40, and in the print order column of the report table RTBL40 corresponding to this report, "Amount order" is written.
``Medium block'' and ``large block'' are set in the aggregation range column, ``item'' and ``item data'' are set in the print item column, and ``entire print'' is set in the print block column. Therefore, the lowest aggregation block becomes the middle block, and the code is 0~
200, 201 to 400, etc. are counted and printed (see Figure 1), and the item name and item data are printed in order of price for each middle block. For example, in Figure 12, in the first block (codes 0 to 200),
Code 3 pork belly was the most expensive, followed by pork shoulder loin (code 2), pork loin (code 1)...
...and so on. Also, the second block (codes 201 to 400)
So, chicken thighs with code 202 are the most expensive, followed by fried chicken (code 201)... Also,
3rd block (codes 401~600), 4th block (codes 601~800), 5th block (codes 801~
1000) has no data, and the 6th block (code
1001-1200), bacon with code 1003 is the first
Salami sausage with 1001 is in second place. In this way, the totaling and printing is done for each medium block, and the total data (medium total) of the number, weight, and price are printed for each medium block. Further, total data (grand total) is also printed for each large block (codes 0 to 400, 401 to 800, etc.), and the entire total data is printed in the bottom column. In this manner, in this embodiment, the user can register the optimal report format required by the user himself/herself, and the report can be printed according to this format. We also have a report table for the user's convenience.
It is also possible to print RTBL; for example, the above-mentioned report table RTBL40 is printed as shown in FIG. As explained above, the present invention provides one report table for each format in which a series of parameters defining each report format is written, and allows the user to freely set the parameters of this report table. , the following effects can be achieved. (1) Users can obtain the optimal report format they need. (2) If circumstances change, the report format can be changed as appropriate. (3) Manufacturers are also freed from the trouble of preparing all required report formats.
