No. 125582, Utility Model No. 60-109653). In addition, reinforcing fibers are layered on the inner wall of the hollow part (1986-

The weight of the bat will increase, and the overall balance of the bat will deteriorate. For this reason, the length of the filler must be kept small, and the full width of the ball hitting area (usually
It is virtually impossible to insert filler material over a length of 120 mm), which poses the problem of not being able to sufficiently improve the strength.

I am getting the effect that I can improve. However, it is not easy to prepare a large number of cork materials of the same quality, and further improvement in strength is desired.

Utility Model Application Publication No. 61-54890 had problems such as the fiber tubes that were the filling material were in surface contact with each other, and the degree of freedom of deformation when hitting the ball was small.

This fiber cylinder is preferably constructed of long fiber reinforcing fibers, and examples of fiber types include one or more composite materials such as carbon fibers, aramid fibers, boron fibers, and polyethylene fibers. However, this idea
The fibers are not limited to these, and any fibers may be used as long as they have excellent strength, elasticity, etc. Furthermore, it is desirable to use a thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin as the synthetic resin serving as the matrix or binder.

Further, even after the ball is hit by the ball-hitting portion, the ball-hitting portion easily returns to its original state due to the expansion and contraction force of the fiber cylinder.

A large-diameter, cylindrical fiber cylinder 3 made of long carbon fibers impregnated with epoxy resin and cured is arranged, and between this fiber cylinder 3 and the inner surface of the ball-striking part 2, a cylindrical fiber cylinder made of the same material is placed. A large number of small-diameter fiber cylinders 4 are arranged, and the fiber cylinders 3 and 4 are fitted together as a whole. Note that during this insertion, the fiber cylinder 3 and the fiber cylinder 4 are fixed by tightening the ball hitting portion 2 by about 1 mm in diameter.

とができる。 According to the metal bat having the structure in which the fiber cylinder is tightly fitted inside, the toughness can be increased without increasing the weight. Therefore, metal fatigue of the bat body 1 is reduced and durability is improved. In addition, since the ball-hitting part 2 is elastically reinforced with the fiber cylinders 3 and 4, which have excellent elasticity, the restoring force is increased and a large repulsion force can be obtained when hitting the ball. You can get a big leap forward.

You can gain strength. Moreover,
Since the fiber cylinder can be placed not only in the ball-hitting part but also in areas other than the ball-hitting part, it is possible to dramatically improve the strength of the metal bat.

Inside the ball-striking portion 2 of the bat body 1, fiber cylinders 5 made of aramid fibers made of long fibers impregnated with epoxy resin and cured are uniformly and densely circumscribed, and as in the case of the first embodiment, the fiber cylinders 5 are circumferentially arranged. It is fixed by tightening part 2. In this embodiment as well, as in the first embodiment, by reinforcing the ball hitting portion, effects such as improved strength, improved restoring force, and prevention of metal fatigue can be obtained.

Further, in Examples 1 and 2, the fiber cylinders are uniformly arranged over the inner periphery of the ball-hitting portion, but it is also possible to arrange them non-uniformly to provide different characteristics depending on the rotational position.
