(Prior art) Regarding the conventional spring A body of this type, a guide wire D is used to hold the pitch of a coil spring C (hereinafter referred to as a pocket spring) inserted into a flexible tube bag B. It was assembled by passing it through the tube bag and sewing it together. (Utility Model Publication No. 58-36848) (Problems to be solved by the invention) Since the pocket spring had to be set in the shape of a pinerest in advance and then the guide wire had to be passed through it, it took a long time to assemble.
Furthermore, since the tube bag is penetrated by a guide wire, there were problems such as the tube bag being torn during long-term use.

(Means for solving the problem) A flexible sheet of cloth or non-woven fabric that can be sewn or welded is arranged on the entire upper and lower surfaces of the spring body, and the entire length or appropriate spacing and length of the upper and lower connecting parts of each row of pocket coils. A spring body constructed by sewing or welding multiple pocket coils together and connecting each row of pocket coils.

(Function) By joining the upper and lower connecting portions 1'a, 1'b and the flexible sheet to the pocket spring rows one by one, the positions of the coil springs in the spring assembly are automatically determined. Furthermore, by using a long flexible sheet and continuously supplying rows of pocket springs, it is possible to continuously produce spring bodies, and the number of man-hours can be greatly reduced compared to conventional assembly methods. Furthermore, since the entire pocket coil array is connected to a flexible sheet placed over the entire surface of the spring body, the shape of the spring body is maintained well, and the mattress surface has good flatness, making it difficult to deform during transportation. Furthermore, by simply changing the connection position between each pocket coil row and the flexible sheet, it is possible to connect pocket coil rows with different coil diameters or to change the spacing between pocket coil rows.

In addition, since the conventionally required guide wire is not required, the drawback that the tube bag may be damaged during long-term use can be eliminated.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, flexible sheets 1a and 1b made of cloth, nonwoven fabric, etc. that can be sewn or welded
are shifted by an appropriate size, and both ends 2 of the overlapping portion are sewn or welded to form the tube bag 1. Here, the ends of the flexible sheets 1a, 1b corresponding to both ends of the tube bag become connecting parts 1'a, 1'b. In FIG. 2, the pocket spring array 3 is constructed by inserting a coil spring 4 into the aforementioned tube bag 1, and joining the flexible sheets 1a and 1b between each coil spring by sewing or welding, so that each individual pocket spring is inserted into the tube bag. Constructed with an independently enclosed coil spring.
