Conventionally, multiple terminal devices such as smoke detectors, temperature detectors, photodetectors, gas leak detectors, fire doors, smoke exhaust dampers, etc. are connected in parallel to the line extending from the central device, and each terminal is connected individually. By setting a valid address, when the self-address detection circuit detects an address that matches the self-address in response to sequential calls from the central device that include the above-mentioned unique address, it will send out a detection signal or perform control. Proposals have been made for disaster prevention monitoring and control devices that employ methods such as receiving signals. The above method is usually called the polling method, and has the effect of reducing the number of lines between the central device and each terminal device, but since it constantly calls all terminal devices, it is difficult to use for highly reliable systems such as fire alarm systems. For devices that require high performance, when a terminal malfunction occurs, it is necessary to turn off the power to the entire device or turn off the local bell to prevent confusion caused by false alarms. Ta. However, such an operation also carries the risk of stopping the functionality of the entire device. Furthermore, even if a fire alarm system is installed at a construction site such as a busy building, the system cannot be operated until the entire construction site is completed, making it impossible to adequately respond to the situation.

Therefore, the inventor of the present application first filed a patent application in 1983-
No. (submitted on November 29, 1988; title of the invention: "Disaster Prevention Monitoring and Control Device"), the central device receives the address of any terminal device and calls the terminal device in response to a signal from the input operation section. The above problem is solved by registering whether or not to call each terminal, and referring to the registration status of the terminal before calling each terminal to determine whether or not to call that terminal. We proposed a disaster prevention monitoring and control device.
In other words, when a failure occurs in a terminal device, the central device registers the address of that terminal device and a message indicating that the call will be canceled, and refers to this registration status before calling each terminal device. For those that have been registered to be canceled, the call process is moved to the next terminal device without making the call. This allows the process to be handled without stopping the functionality of the entire device. It is something.

However, according to the previous proposal, the above-mentioned total outage can be prevented, and the central device can confirm that the call has been canceled, but from the terminal device's perspective, it is not possible to check whether the terminal is receiving a call or not. In other words, a new problem arises in that it is completely unknown whether or not this terminal device is functioning within the entire device, which is also an obstacle to improving the reliability of the device.

FIG. 1 is an overall schematic configuration diagram of an embodiment of the disaster prevention monitoring and control device according to this invention.
A plurality of terminal devices T are connected in parallel to a line l extending from the central device R via respective transmission sections DT. On the central unit R side, there is a central processing unit CPU, a storage device M, and each interface.
An input operation section K, a display output section H, and a transmission section D are provided via I 1 and I 2 . And transmission part D
is connected to the line l. In the storage device M, each processing procedure of the entire device is registered, and a buffer is prepared in which at least the status of each terminal device T is registered. The above terminal T
Figure 2 shows a more detailed configuration of the accompanying transmission section DT. It is assumed that the detection unit has a function of detecting changes in the target. The signal generation circuit S converts the analog signal obtained from the detection section A into a digital signal, and the portion closer to the line I is included in the transmission section DT in this embodiment. Whether each section is included on the transmission section DT side or on the terminal device T side is not an important requirement, and is only classified here for convenience of explanation. A signal generated by the signal generation circuit S is sent to the line l via the transmission circuit DE. The address comparator AC detects a match between the address signal sent from the central device R side via the line 1 and the transmission circuit DE and the self-address set in the self-address setting section AS, and outputs the detection output. The signal generation circuit S is activated by the above operation. A self-address detection circuit B is formed by the address comparator AC and the self-address setting section AS. The detection output of this address comparator AC is also connected to the gate of the transistor Tr, so that when the transistor Tr becomes conductive, the light emitting diode LED is turned on. In other words, this light emitting diode
The LED is an indicator light serving as a display device, and a sounding device such as a buzzer may also be used as a display device having a display function. Further, the transistor Tr is a display driving circuit, and a circuit configuration using a relay may also be adopted.

In the disaster prevention monitoring and control device of this invention configured as described above, the central processing unit CPU is
According to the processing procedure registered in advance in the storage device M, the address of each terminal T is sequentially set in the transmission section via the interface I2 , and an address signal is sent out to call each terminal T. However, if there is a terminal on the central device R side that you want to cancel the call, a message to cancel the call is sent from the input operation section K to the corresponding position in the buffer where each terminal T in the storage device M is registered. Please register. As a result, the central processing unit CPU always refers to the registration status in this buffer before calling each terminal, and therefore does not send an address signal to a terminal for which call cancellation has been registered.

Now, on the terminal device T side, the address signal sent via the line l is taken into the address comparator AC via the transmission circuit DE, and the self-address setting section
It compares with the self address set in the AS, and if they match, a detection output is generated. Therefore, when an address signal that matches its own address is input, the address comparator AC generates a detection output,
The signal generation circuit S is activated to convert the analog signal obtained from the detection section A into a digital signal, and sends it out to the line I via the transmission circuit DE, and also makes the transistor Tr, which is a display drive circuit, conductive.
When the transistor Tr becomes conductive, a light emitting diode LED serving as a display device is turned on. By lighting this light emitting diode LED, on the terminal T side,
Since it can be confirmed that this terminal device T is receiving a call and is functioning normally in the entire device, reliability can be improved. In this embodiment, a light emitting diode is used as the display device, but a sound device such as a buzzer may be used to display the information audibly.

Note that in the above embodiment, the time during which the display device is driven is the extremely short time during which the detection output is generated by the address comparator AC, and it may be difficult to confirm that it is being driven. It is conceivable, but in such a case, the address comparator
If you add a circuit that stretches the AC detection output appropriately, it will be easier to confirm.

As described above, in the disaster prevention monitoring and control device according to this invention, each terminal device is equipped with a display drive circuit driven by the detection output of its own address detection circuit, and a display device driven by the display drive circuit. Therefore, it can be accurately confirmed whether or not the terminal is receiving calls, in other words, whether or not the terminal is functioning within the entire system, thus increasing the reliability of the system as a whole. has been significantly improved. In addition, its configuration requires only the addition of a few circuit components as in the above embodiment, and furthermore, since the timing at which the display device of each terminal device is driven coincides with the time when a call is received, each Since the display devices operate with a time lag from each other and do not operate at any time, there is an advantage that the power supply capacity of the entire device can be relatively small.
