因の一つである粉塵を発生する種々の産業の大気
汚染公害防止装置として有用なもので、詳しく
は、粉塵発生室の底部に上面開放の水槽が設けら
れているとともに、この水槽の側部寄り上方位置
に、洗浄室が立設され、その洗浄室の、前記粉塵
発生室内に面した側板の下端縁と前記水槽内の制
御水面との間に狭い隙間が形成され、この洗浄室
の上部には、前記室内の含塵空気を前記隙間付近
の水面近くの水とともに水面に沿わせて、かつ前
記狭い隙間を通して前記洗浄室内に高速で吸込ま
せる排気フアンが備えられているとともに、前記
洗浄室内には、前記狭い隙間を通つて吸込まれて
くる含塵空気をその含塵空気とともに洗浄室内に
吸込まれてくる水および/又は洗浄室内へ別途供
給される洗浄用水と衝突混合させ、含塵空気から
粉塵を除去する装置を備えたノーポンプ型或いは

間4を通して洗浄室3内に随伴移入させるべくな
してある。また、前記洗浄室3内の下端で前記狭
い隙間4の存在する側に、その隙間4を通つて吸
込まれてくる含塵空気及び飛沫水を円形運動させ
てそれらに遠心力を付与する渦巻状の流れ方向変
換板6が設けられているとともに、その流れ方向
変換板6の洗浄室3内側の端部に連ねて前記隙間
4の存在する側とは反対方向に下り勾配の集水板
19が設けられ、この集水板19の傾斜下端側に
前記の遠心力によつて流れの外側に投げ出される
ように分離された含塵水を前記水槽2の底部に還
