However, if the length of the webbing between the shoulder webbing winding rod and the take-up device becomes longer, the amount of webbing that stretches out will increase even after the take-up device stops pulling out the webbing in the event of a vehicle emergency.
A support device is required to stop the longitudinal movement of the webbing in the event of a vehicle emergency. However, in the event of a vehicle emergency, this support device clamps and locks the intermediate portion of the webbing between a pair of metal parts, so that a large stress may be concentrated on a portion of the webbing, potentially damaging the webbing. In addition, in a support device equipped with this locking device, the webbing winding rod is supported by the brackets at both ends in the axial direction, so if the webbing crossing angle before and after winding is large, the webbing ears may interfere with these brackets. This may cause wear and tear.

The shoulder webbing support device according to the present invention folds back the middle part of the webbing for occupant restraint through an insertion hole provided in the ring, and arranges the lock bar supported to the vehicle body via the anchor webbing at a distance from the folded part of the webbing. By making it possible to freely move the webbing in the longitudinal direction, and in case of a vehicle emergency, the tension of the webbing for occupant restraint is increased to press the lock bar to the middle part of the webbing, and the webbing anchor rewound by the lock bar locks the webbing for occupant restraint. Avoids stress concentration.

One end of this webbing 16 is locked to a vehicle side wall 20 via an anchor plate 18, and the middle part is folded back by a tongue plate 22 and a shoulder webbing support device 10, and then is attached to a take-up device 20.
It is being wound up. The winding device 24 is disposed at a vertically intermediate portion of the vehicle side wall 20 or near the vehicle floor 26 to eliminate a large protrusion near the head of the occupant 14 and improve safety. Further, this winding device 24 winds up the webbing 16 with a biasing force in the normal state of the vehicle, but has a built-in inertia lock mechanism that instantly stops unwinding of the webbing 16 in the event of a vehicle emergency.

The tongue plate 22 allows the webbing 16 to move freely in the longitudinal direction, and is detachable from a buckle device 28 that stands up from the vehicle floor 26 at approximately the center of the vehicle. Therefore, occupant 14 is seated in seat 1.
If the tongue plate 22 is engaged with the buckle device 28 after sitting on the seat 2, the webbing 16 between the tongue plate 22 and the anchor plate 18 becomes the waist restraint part, and the webbing 16 between the tongue plate 22 and the shoulder webbing support device 10 becomes the waist restraint part. A three-point seatbelt can be worn using the webbing as a shoulder restraint. When the occupant 14 exits the vehicle, by pressing the release button 30 of the buckling device 28, the tongue plate 22 is released from the buckling device 28, allowing the occupant to release the webbing 16, and most of the remaining webbing is unwrapped. It is wound up into the take-up device 24.

A lock bar 40 is disposed on one side of the ring 32 on the occupant restraint section side, that is, on the side where the webbing of the occupant restraint section enters the elongated hole 34. This lock bar 40 is made of aluminum, metal, etc., and has narrow diameter portions 42 formed at both ends, and arms 4 formed at both ends of a leaf spring 44.
It is pivotally supported by the U-shaped portion 46A of No. 6. This leaf spring 44 is secured to the ring 32 with rivets 48. Here, the leaf spring 44 has the role of a holding device that keeps the lock bar 40 spaced apart from the passenger restraint webbing 16 that is wrapped around and folded back, but when a large external force is applied, is bent to bring the lock bar 40 closer to the wrapping portion of the occupant restraint webbing 16.

An intermediate portion of anchor webbing 50 is wrapped around the lock bar 40. The anchor waving 50 is a belt-like fabric made of synthetic fibers such as nylon or polyester similar to the webbing 16 for occupant restraint, and one end 50A is on the side of the winding device of the ring 32, that is, the side of the webbing 16 for occupant restraint. From the side corresponding to the winding device 24, the ring passes through the long hole 34, is wound around the lock bar 34, is folded back, and is passed through the long hole 34 again to reach the winding device side of the ring 32. On the other hand, the other end portion 50B of the anchor webbing 50 is connected to the anchor plate 5.
After passing through the elongated hole 54 of the anchor webbing 50 and being folded back, the anchor webbing 50 is sewn to the intermediate portion of the anchor webbing 50 together with the one end portion 50A. Anchor plate 52 is attached to vehicle side wall 20 with attachment bolts 56.

As a result, the anchor webbing 50 supports the lock bar 40 and the ring 32 to the vehicle side wall 20 via the lock bar 40, and when the tension of the occupant restraint webbing 16 is low when the vehicle is normal, the anchor webbing 50 acts as a leaf spring. The lock bar 40 is separated from the occupant restraining webbing 16 by a biasing force of 44. However, webbing 1 for restraining occupants in case of vehicle emergency.
When the tension of the webbing 6 increases, a force is generated to support this tension and move the lock bar 40 closer to the webbing 16.

The shoulder webbing support device 10 of this embodiment configured in this manner allows the webbing 16 to move in the longitudinal direction in the normal state of the vehicle.
4 can engage the tongue plate 22 with the buckle device 28 to put the webbing in place.
Further, when the vehicle is normally running, the occupant 14 can arbitrarily change the driving posture. When the occupant restraint webbing 16 is moved in the longitudinal direction, the webbing folded back by the ring 32 slides on the surface of the synthetic resin thick film 32B, so the sliding resistance is extremely small, and the winding force of the winding device 24 is Small is good. Furthermore, even if the intersection angle θ of the webbing 16 around the ring 32 is large, the ears 16A and 16B of the webbing 16 will not come into contact with obstacles, which will also ensure smooth webbing. This allows for longitudinal movement.

When the vehicle is in an emergency situation such as a collision, the winding device 2
The inertia lock mechanism in 4 instantly stops the webbing 16 from being pulled out. At the same time, the occupant 14 rapidly moves in the direction of the vehicle collision, so a large tension is generated in the occupant restraint webbing 16.
This tension is transmitted to the anchor webbing 50 via the ring 32, leaf spring 44, and lock bar 40, and the leaf spring 44 receives this tension and bends.
The lock bar 40 approaches the wrapping portion of the occupant restraint webbing 16. As a result, the anchor webbing 50 wrapped around the outer periphery of the lock bar 40 presses against the wrapped portion of the occupant restraining webbing 16 to lock the longitudinal movement of the occupant restraining webbing 16.

Therefore, the occupant 14 is still using the webbing support device 10.
The occupant is restrained with the same high restraint performance as the occupant restraining webbing 16 fixed to the vehicle body, and safety is ensured. In other words, the large tension generated in the occupant restraint webbing 16 does not act between the webbing support device 10 and the take-up device 24, so that the webbing 16 is tightly wound around the end portion of the webbing 16 that is wound in layers onto the take-up device 24. Since the webbing between the webbing support device 10 and the take-up device 24 does not stretch, the occupant can be restrained reliably. Furthermore, since the ring 32 is supported by the anchor webbing 50 to the side wall of the vehicle, the anchor point of the shoulder restraint part of the webbing 16 for restraining the occupant can be placed close to the occupant 14.

In addition, in this locked state, the anchor webbing 50 comes into contact with the intermediate part of the occupant restraint webbing 16, resulting in contact between the webbings, which have a flexible structure, and unlike the case where the occupant restraint webbing 16 is held between metal members, Stress concentration is avoided and the webbing 16 is not damaged. Further, during locking, the wrapped portion of the webbing 16 contacts the unevenness formed by the fan-shaped guide portion 36 and the notch 38, and the anchor webbing 50 contacts the unevenness formed by the fan-shaped protrusion 58 of the ring 32. Because of the contact, movement of each webbing in the width direction is prevented, and an effective locking state can be obtained without the webbings moving in the width direction and causing deviation.

In addition to these, the extension 60 of the ring 32 is connected to the anchor webbing 5 by the long hole 62 and thread 66.
Since the ring 32 is movable only in the longitudinal direction of the anchor webbing 50, the ring 32 does not shift in the width direction of the anchor webbing 50, and the anchor webbing 5
The portion of the lock bar 40 that is wrapped around the lock bar 40 does not shift to one side in the axial direction of the lock bar 40.
