(1) Industrial application field This invention relates to felt for needling paper making (hereinafter referred to as felt) used in paper machines. (2) Conventional technology Conventionally, the width of felt was set slightly wider than the width of the wet paper on the paper machine, and the edges 4 of the felt were cut parallel to the flow direction of the wet paper on the paper machine. There is. When loading felt into a paper machine, it is done manually by holding the felt edges. (3) Problems to be solved by the invention Felt has changed from woven felt to needling felt as paper machines have become faster and have higher nips. Twisted filament yarns have evolved into monofilament synthetic fibers. Furthermore, the structure of the base fabric has changed from single-ply weave to double-ply and triple-ply weave. Along with this, felt became thicker and harder. For this reason, when the felt is loaded into a paper machine, it is difficult to pack the felt into a compact shape, and the selvedges are pulled in the form of a flat plate, which requires a great deal of labor and time. The purpose of this invention is to reduce the labor and time required to load felt into a paper machine. (4) Means for solving the problem In the felt of the present invention, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, holes 1 are made at approximately equal intervals in the selvage 4 of the felt, and ropes 2 and 3 are passed through the holes 1. . As shown in Figure 1, the ropes can be threaded through the holes 1 drilled in the ears 4, each with an independent rope 2 tied to each hole, as shown in Figure 2. There are two models with rope 3 attached. Further, the width of the felt of the present invention is made wider than the width of the conventional felt by the width of the ears 4 through which the holes 1 are made and the ropes 2 and 3 are passed through. The selvedge 4 through which the ropes 2 and 3 are passed is cut and removed after the felt is placed in a paper machine and set. (5) Function The most difficult task in loading felt into a paper machine is to grasp the felt edges and thread the felt through the narrow spaces of the press roll, guide roll, frame, etc. of the paper machine. When the felt is thin and soft, there is not much of a problem in terms of labor and time, but when it is thick and hard, the felt does not bend and it becomes difficult to grasp the ears, making it very difficult to attach the felt to the paper machine. In the present invention, holes 1 are made in the felt and ears 4 are attached through which ropes 2 and 3 are passed. When loading the felt into the paper machine, the operator grasps the ropes 2 and 3.
It can be pulled, making felt work very easy. (6) Example (a) Felt for an inverformer paper machine that makes K-liner (length: 20.4 m width)
460 cm (weight: 174 Kg) on both ears 4, with a diameter of 5 m/m and a length of 20 cm, as shown in Figure 1, within a width of 10 cm on each side.
20 ropes 2 were attached at approximately 1m intervals. When loading this felt into the paper machine, the worker could pull the rope 2 and the work was very quick and easy. After the felt was placed in the paper machine, the paper machine was slowly rotated, the felt edges 4 were cut 10 cm on each side, and the part to which the rope 2 was attached was removed. A comparison of workability between the conventional method and the present invention is shown in the table below.

[Table] (b) Felt for the velvet former paper machine that makes liners (length: 31.0 m, width: 714 cm)
A rope 3 having a diameter of 5 m/m as shown in Fig. 2 was continuously passed through holes spaced about 1 m apart within a width of 12 cm on each side of both ears 4 of a specimen (weighing 380 kg). When loading this felt into the paper machine, the worker uses the rope 3
We were able to increase the work efficiency. After the felt was placed in the paper machine, the paper machine was rotated slowly and the felt ears 4 were cut by 12 cm on each side, and the part to which the rope 3 was attached was removed. A comparison of workability between the conventional method and the present invention is shown in the following table.
