本考案は屋内、屋外兼用の電気機器収納用箱体

従来の屋内、屋外兼用の電気機器収納用箱体
は、金属板材よりなる角形の背板の各側縁にそれ
ぞれ側板を溶接して箱形としたものであるため、
溶接作業に多くの時間を必要とするうえに溶接跡
の仕上加工作業に多くの手数が係りコスト高とな
り、また、この溶接部が長いと溶接歪が生じて開
閉扉が前面開口部に適確に密着せず、雨水が中に
浸入する不良品を多く発生するという問題点があ

器収納用箱体を目的として完成されたもので、図
示の実施例に示すように、金属板材よりなる角形
の背板1に左右の側板2,3と下部側板4を連設
してなる横長の箱素材5の上側開口6を上部側板
7をもつて閉塞して該上部側板7のみはその後縁
より前記背板1の背面に添つて下向きに折曲形成
される短庇板部8を該背板1に点溶接部9をもつ
て部分的に固着したことを特徴とするものであ

は金属板材よりなる角形の背板1に左右の側板
2,3と下部側板4を溶接或いは折曲等の手段に
より連設した箱素材5と、短庇板部8が後縁より
下向きに折曲形成された前記箱素材5の上側開口
6を閉塞するための上部側板7とよりなるもので
あつて、この上部側板7は前記短庇板部8を背板
1の上方部背面に添わせたうえ複数個配設される
点溶接部9をもつて該背板1に部分的に固着した
ものであるから、箱素材5が横長の場合でも該短
庇板部8の補強効果と溶接面積の減少によつて箱
体の歪が殆んどなくて、開閉扉は箱素材の前部開
口縁に密接されるうえに背板1の上縁と上部側板
7との間からの雨水の浸入は折曲された短庇板部
8を背板1の背面に添わせたことによつて適確に
防止され、雨水の浸入のおそれある不良品の発生
は殆んどなくなつて製品歩留りは著しく向上す
る。しかも、背板1に対する上部側板7の取付け
はスポツト溶接等の手段により形成される複数個
の点溶接部9によるものであるから、溶接作業に
要する時間や手数が少なくなるうえに溶接跡の仕
上加工を行う必要がなくてコストダウンが計れる
利点もある。なお、前記実施例では上部側板7の
両側端縁と左右の側板2,3の上端縁との接合部
を一連に溶接して隙間をなくしているが、上部側
板7の両側縁にも左右の側板2,3の上方部外面
に添う短庇板部を設けてこの短庇板部も前記短庇
板部8と同様箱素材5の外面に点溶接部をもつて
部分的に固着するようにしてもよいことは勿論で
