面の端部と側板の接点において行なわれるが、こ
の溶接部分が変色したり凹凸を生じ美粧なステン
レス鋼の美しさを損なう欠点があつた。また、縦
条片の一本、一本を側板に固着しないと、思わぬ
荷重が縦条片端にかゝつた場合、固定してない縦
条片が折れ曲がつたり、端が浮上つたりする恐れ
があり、危険防止のためにも縦条片の端部が固定
