[Object of the invention] (Industrial application field) The present invention relates to height control of a vehicle body, and in particular, detects the height of the vehicle body with a vehicle height detector, and controls vehicle height adjustment means in accordance with the detected vehicle height. The present invention relates to adjusting the height of a vehicle to keep the vehicle height within a predetermined range. (Prior art) This type of vehicle height adjustment is known, for example, in US Pat.
It is disclosed in the specification of No. 4105216 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 140318/1983. However, this type of vehicle height adjustment detects the vehicle height quickly and accurately, and controls the vehicle height with reasonable speed and stability in response to vehicle height fluctuations caused by changes in vehicle weight or road conditions. This is desirable. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in this type of vehicle height adjustment device, for example, a connector between a vehicle height detector and a vehicle height control means that controls a suspension system based on the detection signal is If the signal line is disconnected or the signal line is disconnected, there is a risk that an erroneous potential indicating a vehicle height different from the actual vehicle height or an incomprehensible potential for control purposes may be applied to the signal input terminal of the vehicle height control means. For example, if a potential corresponding to a high level is applied to the vehicle height control means due to a disconnection, the vehicle height control means opens a relief valve and the vehicle height decreases, but a potential corresponding to a high level is still applied to the vehicle height control means. Even if the suspension system were completely de-pressurized, the relief valve would still remain open. If a potential corresponding to low is applied to the vehicle height control means due to a disconnection, the vehicle height control means will drive the compressor and the vehicle height will rise, but a potential corresponding to low will still be applied to the vehicle height control means and the compressor will continues to run, causing the compressor to overheat. If a connection failure or disconnection occurs that randomly connects and disconnects the signal line, random control operations such as opening of the relief valve or intermittent driving of the compressor are performed. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to prevent abnormal vehicle height adjustment when a vehicle height detection signal path is abnormal, such as when a connector is disconnected or a wire is disconnected. [Structure of the Invention] (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the vehicle height adjustment device of the present invention has an adjustment means for adjusting the height of the vehicle body with respect to the vehicle; Vehicle height detection means for generating a signal; and controlling the adjustment means to adjust the height of the vehicle body relative to the vehicle in accordance with the signal generated by the vehicle height detection means; and a vehicle height control means for stopping control of the adjustment means based on the signal when the signal is at the same level as when the signal input path from the vehicle is disconnected. (Operation) According to this, when the vehicle height detection means normally generates a signal indicating the vehicle height and this is correctly transmitted to the vehicle height control means, the vehicle height control means performs vehicle height control in response to this signal. However, the vehicle height is automatically maintained at a certain appropriate value. If a signal of the same level as the disconnection is given to the vehicle height control means due to a malfunction (internal failure) of the vehicle height detection means or a disconnection of the vehicle height detection signal path, the vehicle height control means will stop adjusting the vehicle height. , the adjustment means stops, and abnormal vehicle height adjustment operations are no longer performed. Therefore, when the input to the vehicle height control means is abnormal, such as when the signal path from the vehicle height detection means to the vehicle height control means is disconnected, vehicle height adjustment is automatically prohibited and abnormal and wasteful operation is performed. Vehicle height adjustment is prevented. That is, the above-mentioned conventional problems are improved. Other objects and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the drawings. (Example) FIG. 1 shows one manner of mounting the vehicle height detector 100 on a vehicle. The vehicle height detector 100 is fixed to the vehicle body frame 10, and has a link 2 on its rotation axis.
The other end of this link 20 is connected to the outer case of the differential gear 30. 40 is an axle. A vertical cross section of the vehicle height detector 100 is shown in FIG. 2a, and cross sections are shown in FIGS. 2b to 2e. Vehicle height detector 10
0, a light shielding plate 105 having arc-shaped folds 104a (for vehicle height control) and 104b (for jack up detection) is fixed to the tip of the rotating shaft 103, and a link 20 is fixed to the other end. . A printed circuit board 107 is fixed to the base 106, and photo sensors 101 and 102 are fixed to this printed circuit board 107. FIG. 2b shows a state where the vehicle height is high, FIG. 2c shows a state where the vehicle height is medium, and FIG. 2d shows a state where the vehicle height is low. The photo sensors 101 and 102 are composed of a light emitting diode and a photo transistor as shown in FIG.
The folds 104a and 104b cut off the signal. Photo sensors 101 and 102 are connected to a vehicle height signal processing device 210 via a first connector 200. In this embodiment, the vehicle height signal processing device 210 includes resistors R 1 , R 2 , AND gates AND1,
It consists of AND2 and inverters NOT1 and NOT2. Light shielding folding 104a, 10
4b, the arrangement of the photo sensors 101 and 102, and the encoding logic of the vehicle height signal processing device 210, the input/output values shown in Table 1 below are achieved.
An output signal is obtained.

As described above, according to the present invention, when the signal path from the vehicle height detection means to the vehicle height control means is disconnected and the input to the vehicle height control means is abnormal, vehicle height adjustment is automatically prohibited, resulting in abnormal and wasteful adjustment. This prevents unnecessary vehicle height adjustments.
