Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、モレ防止構造を有するつかいすてお
むつに関する。
従来つかいすておむつのモレ防止機構としては
種々のものが提案されてきた。１つは特公昭52−
40267号、特開昭54−115939号、同52−120045号
各公報に見られる如く、つかいすておむつの長手
方向に端縁部に沿つて弾性体を設置してあらかじ
め端縁部にギヤザーを形成させ、着用者の股下部
分をおむつに密着させ、漏れにくくしたものがあ
る。又１つは、特開昭57−35002号公報に見られ
る如く、つかいすておむつの長手方向に、端縁部
に沿つて濡れると収縮する吸水収縮繊維を設置し
て着用者の股下部分をおむつに密着させ漏れにく
くしたものもある。
しかし、上記のようなモレ防止機構には種々の
欠点がある。つまり、前者は、ゴム等の弾性体の
弾性収縮力を利用しており、尿の漏れを防止する
には着用者の股下部を強く押えつける必要があ
り、着用中、股下部への圧迫により、股下部が赤
くなつたり、傷ついたりすることが多々あり、
又、股下部が強く密着しているためムレやすいと
いう欠点を有する。
又、後者は、吸水収縮繊維が尿で濡れるまで
は、おむつの端縁部にギヤザーができないため着
用者が排尿する前に便、特に下痢便・軟便をした
場合に、漏れやすいという欠点を有する。
本発明者らは、上記両者の欠点を改良すべく鋭
意研究の結果、本発明に到達した。
即ち、本発明は液透過性の表面シート、液不透
過性の裏面シート及びこれら両シートの間に位置
する吸収層からなるつかいすておむつにおいて、
水と接触することにより長さが収縮し、かつ伸縮
性が付与される吸水収縮繊維が、つかいすておむ
つの長手方向中央部を横切つて長手方向に沿つ
て、かつ前記吸収層に重なることなく吸収層の横
方向両側に固定され、その吸水収縮繊維の外側の
表面シートと吸水層上の表面シートの一部が、両
側部に於いて長手方向の中間付近でそれぞれ接着
され、それらの両側部にある２つの接着点の横方
向間隔が50mm以上あり、かつその接着部分の長手
方向長さが10〜50mmであり、更に上記２つの接着
点からおむつの両側端に向かつてそれぞれ５mm以
上離れた位置の長手方向中間部に長手方向に沿つ
て長さ70mm以上、弾性力（おむつの伸縮部をおむ
つの全長の長さに伸ばした時の力）20〜100ｇの
弾性伸縮部材が設置されていることを特徴とする
つかいすておむつを提供するものである。
以下本発明を図面に示す実施例によつて詳細に
説明する。
第１図は、本発明のつかいすておむつの一実施
例を示す斜視図、第２図はそのＡ−Ａ線断面図、
第３図は別の実施例の断面図である。
本発明のつかいすておむつは、液透過性表面シ
ート１と液不透過性裏面シート２と吸収層７から
なり、その吸収層７の両側に吸収層と重なること
なく、水と接触することにより長さが収縮しかつ
伸縮性が付与される吸水収縮繊維５が固定されて
いる。又、吸水収縮繊維５の外側の表面シートと
吸収層７上の表面シートは長手方向中間付近の２
ケ所で一部が接着されている。この接着部分４を
以下レツグスポツトと称す。更にレツグスポツト
の外側に弾性ギヤザー３を備える目的で弾性伸縮
性部材３′が設置されている。
このようなつかいすておむつの目的は、尿およ
び便のモレ防止、又、着用者の肌の圧迫防止にあ
る。以下この点について説明する。つまりレツグ
スポツト４と弾性ギヤザー３により、着用者の臀
部から股にかけてポケツト８を形成しこのポケツ
トが、尿をしてない時の大便漏れを防ぐわけであ
る。又、尿については、吸水収縮繊維５により、
大股部からの漏れを防ぐため、弾性ギヤザー３
は、上記ポケツトを形成する程度の強さでよく、
弾性の強い弾性伸縮性部材を使わないため、着用
者の肌への圧迫はほとんどなく、しかも尿及び大
便の漏れ防止となる。
ここで重要なことは、ギヤザー３とレツグスポ
ツト４により、有効なポケツトを作ることであ
り、このためには、弾性伸縮性部材の位置と長さ
及びレツグスポツトの長さが問題となる。上記有
効なポケツトを形成するには、２つのレツグスポ
ツト間が50mm以上であり、レツグスポツトの長さ
が10〜50mmであることが必要である。又レツグス
ポツト４と弾性伸縮性部材３′の間隔(a)は５mm以
上必要であり、５mm未満では、レツグスポツトの
抵抗により、レツグスポツト付近に有効なギヤザ
ーが形成しにくく、又、形成したポケツトが浅く
小さいため、便の漏れが多くなる。
又、弾性伸縮性部材の長さについても、短すぎ
ると上記と同様、大便モレに有効なポケツトがで
きないため、その伸びた状態で、最低70mm、好ま
しくは100mm以上の長さが必要である。
又、ここでもう１つ重要なことは、弾性伸縮性
部材の弾性力である。この弾性力は、肌の圧迫に
つながるため、着用者にとつては弱いほどよいわ
けで、有効なギヤザーを形成する最小限にとどめ
ておく必要がある。この点本発明のおむつは、吸
水収縮繊維を利用しているため、尿漏れ防止のた
めの、弾性力のあるギヤザーは必要でなく、ポケ
ツトを形成する程度のギヤザーでよく、弱い弾性
伸縮性部材でよい。以上、肌を圧迫しないという
点からおむつ伸長時の引張り強度が、100ｇを越
えると着用者に不快感を与える恐れがあり、又、
ギヤザー形成という点から、20ｇ以上の強度は必
要であり、好ましくは、20〜60ｇがよい。
この弱いギヤザーを形成する弾性伸縮性部材
は、一般の天然ゴムでもウレタンゴムでも弾性を
示すものであれば、かまわないが、最も好ましく
は、ウレタンの細い繊維をスパンボンド法で不織
布にして弾性をもたせたものが着用者の肌にやわ
らく接触し、しかも有効なギヤザーを形成すると
いう点では最もすぐれている。又、本発明に使用
される弾性伸縮性部材の巾は着用者への圧迫とい
う点から広いものが適しており好ましくは５mm以
上がよい。
又、吸水収縮繊維は吸収層の近くでは、吸収層
が妨害して収縮を妨げられるため、吸水収縮繊維
の収縮をより効果的に構成するためには、この吸
水収縮繊維をある程度吸収層から遠ざける必要が
ある。効果的に収縮しておむつを着用者の肌に吸
水収縮繊維で密着させるには、吸収層の端から吸
水収縮繊維までの距離ｂは10mm以上離れているほ
うが尿モレ防止としては効果的である。
ここに示す吸水収縮繊維としては、特開昭57−
35002号公報に開示されている様なカルボキシメ
チルセルロース繊維、アクリル加水分解繊維等の
撚り糸が有効である。又、この吸水収縮繊維に
は、吸収層から尿が導水されるような機構がほど
こされているものが好ましい。
以上が本発明のつかいすておむつの実施態様で
あるが、本発明はこの説明のみに限定されるもの
でなく、その主旨の範囲内において任意に変更実
施できる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 液透過性の表面シート、液不透過性の裏面シ
    ート及びこれら両シートの間に位置する吸収層か
    らなるつかいすておむつにおいて、水と接触する
    ことにより長さが収縮し、かつ伸縮性が付与され
    る吸水収縮繊維が、つかいすておむつの長手方向
    中央部を横切つて長手方向に沿つて、かつ前記吸
    収層に重なることなく吸収層の横方向両側に固定
    され、その吸水収縮繊維の外側の表面シートと吸
    水層上の表面シートの一部が、両側部に於いて長
    手方向の中間付近でそれぞれ接着され、それらの
    両側部にある２つの接着点の横方向間隔が50mm以
    上あり、かつその接着部分の長手方向長さが10〜
    50mmであり、更に上記２つの接着点からおむつの
    両側端に向かつてそれぞれ５mm以上離れた位置の
    長手方向中間部に長手方向に沿つて長さ70mm以
    上、弾性力（おむつの伸縮部をおむつの全長の長
    さに伸ばした時の力）20〜100ｇの弾性伸縮性部
    材が設置されていることを特徴とするつかいすて
    おむつ。 ２ 吸水収縮繊維が、吸収層の端から10mm以上離
    れて固定されている特許請求の範囲第１項記載の
    つかいすておむつ。
