Claims (1)
だのカウルボツクス内にワイパを格納可能に備え
た格納式ワイパ装置であつて、ワイパモータと該
ワイパモータに連結され往復回動するワイパピボ
ツト軸と該ピボツト軸を隠蔽する隠蔽体とを備え
たピボツトベース部と、ワイパ格納時に前記ワイ
パピボツト軸に連結したワイパブレードが搭載さ
れるブレードベース部と、前記ピボツトベース部
および前記ブレードベース部を夫々独立して昇降
させる各リフト機構と、該各リフト機構を作動さ
せるリフトモータと、をカウルボツクス内に備え
、さらに、ワイパブレードの不使用時には前記ピ
ボツトベース部を降下させ且つワイパブレードの
使用時には前記ピボツトベース部を上昇させ、ワ
イパブレードの作動開始時および終了時には前記
ブレードベース部を上昇させ且つワイパブレード
の作動継続時および不使用時には前記ブレードベ
ース部を降下させるようにワイパモータおよびリ
フトモータの作動制御を行う制御手段とを備え、
前記制御手段は、ワイパスイツチの駆動指令信号
で前記両ベース部を上昇させ且つ前記両ベース部
の位置を検知するベース位置センサの検知信号の
うち前記両ベース部が上限位置に到達したことを
検知した検知信号でワイパを払拭作動させ且つ前
記ワイパ払拭作動中でワイパブレードが所定の格
納位置にないことを検知したワイパ位置センサの
検知信号で前記ブレードベース部を降下させ且つ
ワイパスイツチの停止指令信号およびワイパブレ
ードが所定の格納位置にないことを検知したワイ
パ位置センサの検知信号で前記ブレードベース部
を上昇させ且つワイパブレードが所定の格納位置
にあることを検知したワイパ位置センサの検知信
号で前記両ベース部を降下させる制御手段から構
