【発明の詳細な説明】
産業上の利用分野 本発明は、入力音声と音素表記された単語辞書
の各辞書項目の辞書音素系列との尤度を、尤度マ
トリクスを用いて計算して単語を認識する単語音
声認識方法に関するものである。 従来例の構成とその問題点 従来の単語音声認識方法を第１図とともに説明
する。第１図に示すように、分析部１で入力音声
に対して先ず分析を行ない、この入力音声の特徴
を特徴抽出部２で抽出して入力音声を構成する音
素を音素認識部３で認識する。この認識された音
素系列を、単語辞書５中の各辞書項目の辞書音素
系列と照合し、２つの音素系列間の尤度を、音素
間の尤度マトリクス６を用いて、単語照合部４で
各音素毎の認識確率を求めることにより算出し、
音素系列間の尤度が最大となる辞書項目をもつて
認識単語とするものである。尤度マトリツクス６
としては、音素間のコンヒユージヨンマトリツク
ス（以下CMと略す）を使用するのが一般的であ
る。 第１表は、前記単語音声認識方法に用いる単語
辞書５の一例を示しており、各単語は第２表に示
す音素表記法に従つて表記されている。第３表は
前記C.M.の一部を示す。第３表において、縦は
単語辞書中の音素を示し、横は認識音素を示して
いる。また第３表中の数字は単語辞書中の各音素
がどのような音素に認識されるかの確率を％で示
したものである。例えば第３表において、単語辞
書中の音素ＩがＩと認識される確率は75％、Ｕに
認識される確率は５％、Ａに認識される確率は０
％、脱落する確率は８％………等を示している。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 入力音声と音素表記された単語辞書の各辞書
    項目の辞書音素系列との類似度を、辞書音素系列
    中の音素と、入力音声の分析パラメータあるいは
    認識された音素との尤度を示す尤度マトリツクス
    を用いて計算し、単語を認識する単語音声認識方
    法において、音素認識結果及び単語認識結果から
    自動的に上記尤度マトリツクスの内容を修正する
    ことを特徴とする単語音声認識方法。
