- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 接続すべき管体の端部に外嵌したスリーブ
を継手本体と締め付けナツトの螺合により縮径せ
しめ、管体の内側に嵌合するインサート部との間
で挾持して管体を結合する管継手において、前記
スリーブは所定温度以上に加熱されるとスリーブ
本体が縮径すると共に、該スリーブ本体の外周面
に一体に設けられた掛止片が起立して前記継手本
体または締め付けナツトと掛合するように記憶せ
しめた形状記憶合金からなることを特徴とする管
継手。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の管
継手において、形状記憶合金は二方向性形状記憶
合金であることを特徴とする管継手。
