し、駆動源からの動力により前記ロータを回転さ
せる駆動軸を前記両サイドブロツクに挿通して支
持し、前記カムリング、ロータ及びベーンで囲ま
れた容積が該ロータの回転に伴つて変化して冷媒
の吸入、圧縮及び吐出を行なうベーン型圧縮機に
おいて、前記駆動軸の反駆動源側端部を前記一方
のサイドブロツクから前記吸入室内に突出させる
と共に該反駆動源側端部の周囲に羽根を形成し、
該羽根と対向する羽根を有すると共に該両羽根を
囲む空間内に封入された流体のつれ回り力により
回転する回転体を、前記一方のサイドブロツクの
端面に摺接させて前記駆動軸の反駆動源側端部の
外周に設け、前記一方のサイドブロツクに前記ロ
ータの回転方向に延びる吸入ポートを設け、前記
回転体に前記吸入室と前記吸入ポートとを連通し
且つ前記回転方向に延びる吸入孔を形成すると共
に、該回転体を前記吸入孔と前記吸入ポートとの
重なりが最小となる第1位置と該重なりが最大と
なる第2位置との間で回転可能とし、且つ該回転
体を前記つれ回り力に抗して前記第1位置側に付
