ホツパーに挿入装着することにより現像部本体に
トナーを供給するトナー供給装置において、カー
トリツジの所定位置に挿入方向に沿つて複数の係
合段部を設け、現像部本体側の所定位置に、カー
トリツジを挿入する間において上記係合段部と順
次係合して振動を与える振動子を設けるとともに
、該振動子をカートリツジから離反方向に移動さ
せて係合部との係合を解除する駆動手段を設けて
おり、カートリツジが定位置に装着されたことを
検出する検出手段を設けていることを特徴とする
