  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 原稿に照射される光の反射光あるいは透過光を
    用いて原稿上の画像情報を読み取る原稿読取手段
    １４と、 該読み取られた画像情報に従つてマスク原版を
    形成するマスク原版形成手段１，３と、 前記マスク原版形成手段１，３によつて形成さ
    れたマスク原版に照射される光の反射光あるいは
    透過光を用いて感光記録媒体７を露光する露光手
    段１２と、 前記原稿及び前記マスク原版を照射する単一の
    光源４とを具備した画像記録装置において、 前記光源４は、該光源４の照射した光が前記露
    光手段１２に達しない位置Ａに退避可能であると
    共に、前記原稿読取手段１４は、前記光源が退避
    した位置Ａに隣接した位置に固定されてなること
    を特徴とする画像記録装置。
