操作を行い、軸廻りの回動でシフト操作を行うよ
うにし、後進段と所定の前進段とが中立位置に対
応する中間位置を挾んで対向するシフト位置に設
定された歯車式変速機において、 上記コントロールロツドの一端に係合部を設け
、コントロールロツドが上記後進段―所定前進段
をセレクトすべく操作されると、軸方向に移動さ
れ、コントロールロツドが所定前進段側にシフト
操作されると上記係合部と軸廻りに連動するよう
に係合する第1カム部を一端に設けたカム部材を
コントロールロツドと同軸に配設し、コントロー
ルロツドが所定前進段から中間位置を経て後進段
側に回動させる際に、上記カム部材の他端に設け
た第2カム部を回り止めするストツパ部材を設け
、かつ上記カム部材の軸方向の変位を許容して該
カム部材を常時は中立位置の位相に保持するとと
もに、コントロールロツドに向けて軸方向に付勢
するスプリングを設け、所定前進段から後進段へ
の直のシフト操作を禁止するようにしたことを特
