れた高分子配向膜、必要に応じて配置され前記透
明な基板の外表面上に形成された偏光板、および
前記透明な基板が樹脂製基板の場合には該樹脂製
基板、のうちの少なくとも一つの内部に、紫外線
吸収剤を分散させたことを特徴とする液晶表示素
子。 (2) 紫外線吸収剤は、ベンゾフエノン系化合物
、金属キレート系化合物又はベンゾドリアゾール
系化合物である実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記
