排出手段へ運搬するためのスカムフラツパが設け
られ、該スカムフラツパにより運搬されたスカム
を、スカムフラツパの移動方向上流側に向かつて
下向きに傾斜して設けられた案内プレートの上面
により案内して上記スカム排出手段に排出するス
カム除去装置において、 上記スカムフラツパの前方に、上記案内プレー
ト近傍でスカムフラツパの移動に先立つて該スカ
ムフラツパの前方の上澄液中を進行し、該上澄液
をスカム排出手段へ排除するための上澄液排除手
段を、上記スキマーブレードにより寄せ集められ
たスカムをスカムフラツパへ流入させるための間
隙を介して設けたことを特徴とするスカム除去装
置。
