(Prior technology) Conventionally, a bird's nest attached to a power transmission tower was detected by the sense of smell, and the snake, knowing that there were bird eggs and chicks at the top, climbed up and came into contact with the insulator of the armrest and the power line at the top. or an electrical accident occurs, or birds such as crows use tree twigs, vines,
Occasionally, they fly by eating construction wire, etc., build a nest, and the branches, etc., hang down and come into contact with power lines, causing power outages and damage to insulators, etc. Particularly during the snake activity season and the crow nest building season, power transmission outage accidents such as those mentioned above occur frequently, and therefore electric power companies and the like are faced with the problem of preventive measures. However, in the past, the only way to prevent snakes from climbing up the tower was to attach tape coated with a snake-repellent drug to the tower, and currently there is no way to prevent crows from building nests. .

(Problem that the invention aims to solve) With conventional tape coated with snake-repelling chemicals, the effects of the chemicals disappear in a relatively short period of time due to rain and wind, allowing snakes to climb over the tape, making it difficult to use in practice. This type of tape was not very effective, and it was not easy to remove the nests that crows had built on the armrests at the top of the tower, and there was a risk of electric shock during the work.

The idea is to install a chemical volatilization tank containing a hygroscopic material that absorbs and releases the chemical liquid at the bottom of the chemical liquid tank containing a volatile repellent liquid that is repelled by snakes, birds, etc., and an appropriate amount of liquid is dripped from the chemical liquid tank using the action of an air control pipe. We provide a repellent liquid volatilizer that absorbs a chemical solution into a moisture absorbent material and volatilizes the repellent gas that is volatilized from the moisture absorbent material in the chemical solution volatilization tank to the surrounding area for a long period of time. This solves the problem by preventing crows from climbing the steel tower and preventing crows from building nests in the armrests.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the problems of the conventional methods, this invention was designed to contain volatile repellent solutions such as nicotine sulfate and creosote, which repel snakes and birds, by leaving a space at the top. The lower surface is equipped with a chemical solution tank equipped with a dripping nozzle for dropping an appropriate amount of the chemical solution, gauze to absorb the dropped chemical solution, moisture-absorbing material such as sachets of sawdust, etc., and a chemical solution reservoir is provided at the bottom to store the chemical solution that cannot be absorbed and dissipated. A chemical liquid volatilization tank having a large number of volatilization holes bored in the surface thereof is installed in series, and an air control intake pipe is inserted into the chemical liquid tank and the chemical liquid volatilization tank so that the upper opening is in the space above the chemical liquid and the lower part thereof. To provide a technical means in which an opening faces a chemical reservoir, a chemical liquid is dropped when the lower opening is opened, and the dripping of the chemical liquid is stopped when the lower opening is blocked with the chemical liquid.

(Function) According to this invention, when the lower opening of the intake pipe for air control is open, air pressure builds up in the space above the chemical solution in the chemical solution tank, causing an appropriate amount of the chemical solution to drip and be absorbed by the moisture absorbing material in the chemical solution volatilization tank. When this moisture-absorbing material becomes saturated with the chemical solution, unabsorbed chemical solution accumulates in the chemical reservoir, and the lower opening of the intake pipe is blocked by the chemical solution, the air is cut off and the pressure in the space of the chemical tank decreases, causing the chemical solution to drop. The chemical solution dripping into the chemical volatilization tank is controlled so that the dripping of the chemical solution stops, and the moisture absorbing material never dries out, keeping the chemical solution in an absorbed state, and the repellent gas is constantly volatilized from the moisture absorbing material and widely dispersed to the surrounding area through the volatilization holes. It is designed to cause snakes, crows, etc. to change their ecological behavior.

In Figures 1 and 2, 1 is a volatile repellent liquid A such as nicotine sulfate or creosote that repels birds such as snakes and crows, leaving a space B in the upper part for opening the upper opening of the intake pipe, which will be described later. It is a closed type chemical liquid tank in which the chemical liquid is placed, and is equipped with a dripping nozzle 2 that drips the chemical liquid little by little on the lower surface. The capacity of the chemical solution tank 1 is set so as to contain the chemical solution depending on the period of use.

Reference numeral 6 denotes a chemical liquid volatilization tank in which an upper opening 6a is fitted and connected to the lower part of the chemical liquid tank 1, and a moisture-absorbing material 3 such as gauze or sacheted sawdust is placed on the bottom of the tank to absorb the chemical liquid dropped and release repellent gas. A chemical liquid reservoir 4 is formed on one side of the bottom of the chemical liquid reservoir 4 into which the chemical liquid that cannot be absorbed by the saturated moisture absorbing material 3 flows, and a large number of volatilization holes 5 are formed on the circumferential surface.

If sawdust is used as the moisture absorbing material 3, it is packaged in a bag to prevent the intake pipe from being blocked, and a sponge may not be used depending on the type of repellent liquid.

Reference numeral 7 denotes an intake pipe for air control, which penetrates the lower surface of the chemical liquid tank 1 and has its upper opening 8 facing the space B above the chemical liquid A, and its lower opening 9 facing the chemical liquid reservoir 4 of the chemical liquid volatilization tank 6. When no chemical solution is accumulated in the chemical solution tank 4 and the lower opening 9 is open, air enters the space B of the chemical solution tank 1 through the intake pipe 7, and the chemical solution drips from the dripping nozzle 2 under air pressure and absorbs moisture. When the remaining chemical solution is absorbed by the material 3 and the moisture-absorbing material 3 becomes saturated, it accumulates in the chemical solution tank 4 and blocks the lower opening 9 of the intake pipe, the inflow of air into the chemical solution tank 1 is blocked and the space B The pressure decreases and the dripping of the chemical liquid from the dripping nozzle 2 is stopped. This suction pipe 7 is used when filling the chemical liquid tank 1.
Remove it, turn it upside down, and pour in the chemical solution through the intake pipe 7. Further, the lower end of the intake pipe 7 is a slanted lower opening, but the invention is not limited to this.

(Effects of the invention) According to this invention, the chemical solution dripping from the chemical solution tank is constantly absorbed by the moisture absorbing material of the chemical solution volatilization tank, and the repellent gas is volatilized and diffused outward through the volatilization holes on the peripheral surface, thereby widening the surrounding area. Since it is possible to make a repellent gas smell, it can prevent snakes, crows, etc. from approaching. In addition, by opening and closing the lower opening of the air control ventilation pipe depending on the increase or decrease of the chemical in the chemical reservoir, it is possible to control the dropping or stopping of the chemical, thereby preventing unnecessary dripping of the chemical into the chemical volatilization tank. The repellent gas can be released over a long period of time by dripping only when the chemical solution volatilizes and the amount of the chemical solution in the chemical solution volatilization tank decreases.

Therefore, it is possible to prevent snakes from climbing by installing a repellent liquid volatilizer that releases this repellent gas in an appropriate place on a transmission line tower, such as at the base of each steel pole or in the middle. This is a useful idea in practice, as birds such as crows will not be able to approach it, so they will not be able to build nests, and there will be no need to remove the nests.

Although the above description has been made regarding the case where the present invention is used for power transmission line towers, the present invention is not limited to this and can be applied to any place where it is desired to prevent the invasion of snakes and the like.

Furthermore, if an aromatic material is placed in place of the repellent chemical solution in the chemical solution tank, the moisture absorption material such as gauze or sponge in the chemical solution volatilization tank can be more fragrant, and the product can be installed and used indoors.
