ーキアーム１，２を、固定部材３に、自転車にお
ける車輪の軸方向に変位してそれぞれ各別に枢支
すると共に、前記各アーム１，２間に、これら各
アーム１，２の一方の動作を他方に連動させ一方
のブレーキアーム（１又は２）を駆動側アームＡ
とし、他方のブレーキアーム（２又は１）を従動
側アームＢとする連動機構４を設けたサイドプル
式キヤリパーブレーキにおいて、前記各アームＡ
，Ｂのうち、従動側アームＢと固定部材３との間
にのみ、前記従動側アームＢを前記駆動側アーム
Ａに追従する方向に付勢するリターンばね５を設
けたことを特徴とするサイドプル式キヤリパーブ
