[Prior Art] Traditionally, mechanical methods such as bulltozers have been used for snow removal, but this requires a huge amount of money to remove the snow every year, as well as the cost of transporting trucks to remove the snow after removal, and the cost of setting up a snow removal site. There are many problems such as security.

Further, even if snow removal is possible, it is not possible to prevent road surfaces from freezing, and furthermore, snow removal methods for areas where mechanical snow removal cannot be performed sufficiently, such as sidewalks and parking lots, have also become a problem.

Under these circumstances, in recent years, a method of directly heating the pavement by burying heating wires, hot water pipes, etc. inside the pavement has begun to be adopted. However, while the heating wire method is easy to install, if the wire breaks within the pavement during construction or use, it is extremely difficult to find the faulty location and almost impossible to repair.
Furthermore, the use of electrical energy as a heat source increases operating costs.

On the other hand, the hot water pipe system can use natural resources such as hot spring water or groundwater as a heat source, and even if natural resources are not available, cheap energy such as a boiler can be used to heat the water, so operating costs are comparatively low. It's relatively inexpensive. However, the piping is complicated and takes time to install, and hot water circulates through the pipes laid in a zigzag pattern inside the pavement.
As the pressure drop increases and the scale of snow melting increases, large-scale pump equipment becomes necessary.

As both the heating wire method and the hot water pipe method have their advantages and disadvantages, a snow melting and deicing system using heat pipes and hot water pipes has been implemented with the aim of improving the workability of the hot water pipe method and simplifying the piping system. has been done. Such a snow melting and deicing device has a heat dissipating part of the heat pipe buried inside the pavement, a heat receiving part inserted into a hot water pipe provided on the side outside the pavement, and
The structure is such that heat from hot water is transferred into the pavement using heat pipes. The problem with this type of structure is that excessive force is applied to the joint between the heat pipe and the hot water pipe due to wheel loads, temperature differences, etc. through the heat pipe, which can lead to damage to the joint. That is the point.

This idea was created to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose was to prevent hot water leakage with a relatively simple structure and to make it easier to connect the heat pipe and hot water pipe. It is an object of the present invention to provide a snow melting and ice removal device capable of absorbing fluctuations in heat pipes caused by wheel loads and temperature differences.

The snow melting and deicing device according to this invention is a device in which a heat dissipating part of a heat pipe is buried inside a heated object, and a heat receiving part is inserted into a hot water pipe, and the diameter of the heat pipe on the side of the heat receiving part is larger than the diameter of the heat pipe on the side of the heat receiving part. An insertion hole with an inner diameter is provided, and the distal end of the heat pipe on the heat receiving section side is inserted into the insertion hole so as to be movable in the axial direction of the pipe, and the heat pipe on the heat receiving section side protruding from the hot water pipe is covered. The cylindrical body is attached to the hot water pipe at its base end, and a flexible part is provided on the base end side of this connecting cylindrical body, and an inclined inner surface that narrows toward the base end is formed on the inside of the tip, and a male thread is formed on the outside of the tip. and a wedge-shaped rubber packing is inserted between the inclined inner surface and the heat pipe surface, and a nut capable of pressing the wedge-shaped rubber packing is screwed onto the male thread,
With a relatively simple configuration, it is possible to prevent hot water leakage, easily connect the heat pipe to the hot water pipe, and absorb fluctuations in the heat pipe.

As shown in FIG. 1, a hot water pipe 2 is installed along the lower side of a concrete pavement 1, and by arranging a large number of heat pipes P at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction, the thermal energy of hot water can be absorbed. is transmitted into the pavement body 1. That is,
A heat radiating part P1 of a heat pipe P is buried almost horizontally in the pavement 1, and the tip of a heat receiving part P2 that is orthogonal to the heat radiating part P1 is inside the hot water pipe 2, with an inner diameter larger than the diameter of the heat pipe of the heat receiving part. It is inserted through the insertion hole 3 so as to be vertically movable.

As shown in FIG. 2, a retractable connecting cylinder 4 is welded to the hot water pipe 2 at its base end so as to cover the heat receiving part P2 that protrudes upward from the insertion hole 3 bored in the hot water pipe 2. installed on.

This connecting cylinder 4 has a lower part as a wave-shaped flexible part 4A that can be expanded and contracted in the vertical direction, an upper end part as an inclined inner surface 9 whose upper end inner surface narrows downward, and a cross section with a male thread 5 on the outer periphery of the upper end. C-shaped connection part 4B
is formed. The connecting portion 4B and the pipe of the heat receiving portion P2 are connected via a rubber packing 7 by a nut 6 having an L-shaped cross section and a loose fitting hole 10 in the center. The rubber packing 7 is wedge-shaped and inserted between the inclined inner surface 9 at the upper end of the connecting portion 4B and the pipe surface, and is pressed downward by the nut 6 through the washer 8. Due to such friction of the rubber packing 7, the heat pipe and the connecting cylinder 4 are integrated.

In the above configuration, external force deformation acting on the heat pipe, for example, vertical movement of the heat pipe due to subsidence of the pavement 1 due to wheel load, vertical movement, left/right movement of the heat pipe due to temperature gradient or drying shrinkage of the pavement 1, etc. By making the size of the insertion hole 3 appropriately larger than the diameter of the heat pipe, the deformation can be absorbed by the waveform flexible portion 4A and the rubber packing 7. Furthermore, leakage of hot water that has entered the connecting cylinder 4 from the hot water pipe 2 can also be prevented. In addition, when installing, it is only necessary to tighten the nut 6 after inserting the heat pipe heat receiving part into the connecting cylinder, and the installation work can be easily performed.

Note that the amount of heat dissipated by the heat pipe is affected by the heat receiving area, but if a connecting cylinder is provided as in the present invention,
Since hot water enters the connecting cylinder, the heat receiving area of the heat pipe increases, which increases the amount of heat transported by the heat pipe and improves snow melting ability.

Furthermore, when it is desired to increase the heat receiving area, the heat receiving area of the heat pipe can be increased by installing the heat receiving part P2 at an appropriate angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the hot water pipe 2, as shown in Fig. 3. can be easily increased.

Further, in order to reduce heat transfer from the surface of the hot water pipe 2 or the connecting cylinder 4 as much as possible, a heat insulating material may be wrapped around these members.
