Conventionally, when water is taken for purposes such as paddy field irrigation from an irrigation canal, for example, an irrigation canal B constructed by installing trench-shaped concrete blocks a, as shown in Figure 4, an irrigation canal B is used. This was done via a concrete block a1 for water diversion built into the appropriate location. The water diversion concrete block a1 has a main body c having a U-shaped cross section and a predetermined length.
A water diversion port d is drilled in one side wall, and a water diversion channel e with a U-shaped cross section is connected to the water diversion port d, protruding at a right angle or at an angle of approximately 45 degrees (right angle in the figure) to the water flow direction A. Usually, a weir plate g is vertically and slidably fitted on the inner surfaces of both side walls f and f of the main body c, and the water diversion port d is also fitted on the inner surfaces of both side walls h and h of the main body c. By fitting the weir plate i so that it can slide up and down at the position, and adjusting the weir plate g on the side of the diversion channel e and the weir plate i on the side of the main body c, an appropriate amount of water can be taken in when necessary. . But like this 2
Not only is it troublesome to operate the two weir plates g and i, but especially in rapids, the flowing water collides with the weir plate i, that is, the weir plate installed on the main line of the irrigation canal, and jumps up, resulting in reduced water intake. In addition to being difficult or almost impossible, there was also the problem that the soil next to the waterway would be dug up by the water jumping phenomenon.

The water gutter 4 is formed, for example, as a concrete block with a U-shaped cross section set to a predetermined length, and has a rectangular water intake hole 7 bored in the approximate center of its bottom 6. 7 is covered with a perforated plate 10 whose outer periphery is supported by a stepped portion 9 formed at its upper periphery and whose upper surface is substantially flush with the bottom 6 . Note that the perforated plate 10 has a large number of through holes 11 of a size that can prevent obstacles such as dirt and pebbles flowing with the water from entering the water reservoir tank 3. Also, at both ends of the upstanding walls 12 and 13 of the water gutter 2, there are recesses 16 into which the connecting plates 15 are fitted.

The water reservoir tank 3 has a box-shaped continuous part 19 that protrudes integrally with the bottom part 6 below the water intake hole 7 so as to surround the water intake hole 7, and has an opening 17 below one of the upright walls 12 of the water gutter 2. , a box-shaped water division part (three side parts 20, 20, 20) that is connected to the continuous part 19 at the opening 17 and is integrally provided with the upright wall 12 so that the upper part opens at the side part of the water gutter 2. have)
21, and the water division portion 21 communicates with the water intake hole 7. The bottom surface 22 of the water reservoir tank 3 is formed flat, and the upper surface of the side surface 20 (hereinafter particularly distinguished from 20a) facing the both side surfaces 20, 20 of the water diversion section 21 and the upright wall 12 is upright. It is formed flush with the upper surface of the wall 12.
Further, on the side surface 20a facing the upright wall 12, located below the bottom section 6 and above the bottom surface section 22,
Water discharge hole 2 into which the end of the water conduit 25 can be fitted and fixed
6 is provided, and a rectangular plate is provided on the inner surface of the opposing side surfaces 20, 20 and the bottom surface 22 to adjust the amount of water spouted from the water spouting hole 26. A fitting groove 29 is cut into which the water amount adjusting plate 27 is fitted. The water volume adjusting plate 27 is inserted through an insertion hole 32 provided in a lid 31 that closes an opening 30 of the water diversion section 21 and is guided by the fitting groove 29 to close the opening 30 of the water diversion section 21.
It can be inserted into the interior of 1 so as to be able to move up and down. Also, on one side 33 of the water volume adjustment plate 27, a locking portion 3 of a stopper 34 is provided.
A suitable number of locking recesses 36 are provided in which the locking parts 5 can be engaged, and by engaging the locking part 35 in a predetermined locking recess 36, the target position can be reached as shown in FIG. This allows the water volume adjustment plate 27 to be held securely and prevents it from falling accidentally. Note that the lid body 31 has opposite end portions 20, 20.
The projecting portions 37, 37 are formed to serve as handle portions.

However, after the water diversion block 1 of the present invention is incorporated into the irrigation channel 5, since the water reservoir tank 3 is in communication with the water intake hole 7 at the bottom 6 of the irrigation gutter 2, the water level in the water diversion section 21 is The water level is equal to the water level in the irrigation gutter 2, and the water in the water diversion part 21 is in a stagnant state, so even in a rapid flow area, water can be diverted in a quiet and stable state, and the soil caused by the water splash phenomenon mentioned above can be diverted. There is no risk of pre-drilling.

The water reservoir tank 3 is communicated with the water intake hole 7 provided in the bottom part 6 of the water gutter 2, and the water discharge hole part 26
is provided below the bottom 6 of the irrigation gutter 2, so even when the amount of water flowing through the irrigation channel is small, the water level in the water tank 3 is maintained at a level that does not interfere with water diversion. . Therefore, regardless of the amount of water flowing through the irrigation canal, the required amount of water can always be reliably distributed.

Since the water diversion part 21 of the water reservoir tank 3 is formed so that its upper part is open, unnecessary substances such as sand and mud deposited on the bottom surface part 22 of the water reservoir tank 3 can be easily removed. In particular, in this embodiment, since the water spouting hole 26 is provided above the bottom surface 22, the lower part of the water spouting hole 26 effectively functions as a waste storage, and therefore, the precipitated waste can be collected. This can prevent objects from entering the water pipe 25.

As mentioned above, the water diversion block of the present invention has a structure in which the irrigation gutter is provided with a water reservoir that communicates with the bottom of the water gutter and has a water diversion volume adjustment function that does not impede the flow of water in the main irrigation canal. In addition to being able to divert an appropriate amount of water in an extremely stable manner, it also has excellent construction properties such as easy connection of water pipes, and since the water diversion section is open at the top, it is easy to use for water storage tanks. Unwanted substances that have settled at the bottom can be easily removed, thus making maintenance of the water intake part easier.

Note that the water diversion block 1 of the present invention may be constructed by molding the water gutter 2 and the water reservoir tank 3 separately and assembling them integrally using means such as adhesion. Furthermore, the water diversion block of the present invention can be widely used as a water diversion block for forming irrigation canals, such as for irrigation canals in fields, as well as for irrigation canals in fish ponds.
