る供給管路を備えたトナー供給手段と、前記現像
部での現像後の余剰トナーを回収する余剰トナー
回収部と、該余剰トナー回収部内の回収された余
剰トナーを前記トナータンクへ排出する排出管路
を備えたトナー排出手段と、前記余剰トナー回収
部の上端近傍と下端近傍との２ケ所に配設された
リードスイツチと前記余剰トナー回収部内に上下
動自在に配設されたフロートマグネツトとから成
る余剰トナー回収部内の余剰トナーの液面を検出
する液面検出手段とを備え、該液面検出手段の動
作により前記上端近傍のリードスイツチのＯＮ状
態では前記トナーの排出管路でのトナー詰まりの
発生を検知し、更に前記下端近傍のリードスイツ
チのＯＮ状態では前記トナータンク内のトナーの
減少を検知しうることを特徴とする液体現像装置
