Conventionally, in fire hoses, thin and flexible 30 to 50 cm length wrappers were fitted to both ends of the hose body to prevent the hose body from being damaged by the edges of the mouthpiece. is being carried out. However, in this conventional fire hose, the mouth wrapper is simply made of fibers woven into a cylindrical shape.
It had poor abrasion resistance, and the hose body was often damaged by passing through the cloth around the mouth. This damage occurred only in the immediate vicinity of the hose fittings, and there was little need for hoses as long as 30 to 50 cm, and such long hoses were used simply due to long-standing custom. In addition, the muzzle cloth is excessively flexible, so if the rear end of the muzzle cloth is not glued to the hose body, the muzzle cloth may tuck up, and the rear end of the muzzle cloth may There were drawbacks such as the weft threads fraying.
Furthermore, it is not preferable to bond the mouth wrap and the hose body because it is time consuming and the bonded portion looks unsightly. Moreover, through the terminal protection cloth,
The water that seeped into the gap between the protective cloth and the hose did not evaporate easily, and the end of the hose remained closed, causing many hygiene problems. The present invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and by impregnating the terminal protection cloth with rubber or synthetic resin, it is given a hard finish and its wear resistance is improved.
By shortening the length of the terminal protection cloth to 10cm to 20cm and making it appropriate hardness, it is possible to prevent the terminal protection cloth from curling up and to avoid gluing the terminal protection cloth to the hose body. This is how it was done.

Figure 1 is a front view of the fire hose of the present invention, Figure 2 is a front view of the fire hose of the present invention;
The figure is an enlarged longitudinal sectional view of one end thereof. Reference numeral 1 denotes a hose body, which is made of a jacket made of fibers woven into a cylindrical shape, and the inner surface of the jacket is lined with rubber or synthetic resin. Reference numeral 2 denotes end protection cloth fitted to both ends of the hose body, which is a cylindrical cloth made of fibers woven into a cylindrical shape and impregnated with rubber or synthetic resin. The terminal protection cloth 2 is fitted so that its tip almost coincides with the terminal of the hose body 1, and its length is 10 to 20 cm, with at least an area excluding 5 cm from the one end. is not glued to the hose body 1. To show a specific example of the present invention, 8 20 count polyester spun yarns are twisted together to make 460 warp yarns, and 5 1000 denier polyester spunlike long fiber yarns are twisted together to form 460 warp yarns.
A cylindrical fabric with an inner diameter of approximately 70 mm is formed by inserting 50 twisted weft yarns into 10 cm intervals, and this is coated with an emulsion of a copolymer of vinyl chloride and ethylene (trade name Sumikaflex 830, manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.).
and an emulsion of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (trade name Sumikaflex 751S, manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.) in a ratio of 1:1 to 2, and the hardness (Hs) of the solid is 65 to 95°. Terminal protection cloth impregnated with mixed emulsion at a solid content of 50 to 150 g per m 2 is fitted to both ends of a 65 mm hose body.

As described above, in the present invention, since the terminal protection cloth 2 is impregnated with rubber or synthetic resin, it has excellent abrasion resistance, effectively protects the hose body, and increases the durability of the fire hose. Furthermore, since the terminal protection cloth 2 is impregnated with rubber or synthetic resin, it is stiffer and more rigid than conventional terminal protection cloths. Therefore, even if a large external force is suddenly applied, the terminal protection cloth 2 absorbs the external force and the hose body 1 is not damaged. For example, in the case of a conventional fire hose, if the end of the fire hose is thrown out onto a concrete floor, etc., the rear edge A of the heavy connecting fittings 3, 3'
However, in the case of the fire hose of the present invention, the hose body was often hit against the concrete floor through the hose body 1 and the mouth wrap, and the hose body was eaten away and damaged. Since the hoses are rigid, the rear edges A of the connecting fittings 3, 3' will not be directly hit against the concrete floor surface, and the hose body 1 will not be cut off. In addition, since the terminal protection cloth 2 is rigid, the terminal protection cloth 2 does not bulge up during use unlike the conventional ones. Therefore, the terminal protection cloth 2
There is no need to adhere the terminal protection cloth 2 to the hose body 1, and there is no need for the effort of adhering the terminal protection cloth 2, and the appearance does not become unsightly. Also, since the terminal protection cloth 2 is not glued to the hose body 1, water that gets into between the terminal protection cloth 2 and the hose body 1 during use will be removed.
Easily drained, making it easier to dry fire hoses. In addition, in the present invention, if the hose main body 1 and the terminal protection cloth 2 are not adhered at all, they may shift from each other and the connecting fittings may not be attached correctly. Therefore, the hose body 1 and the terminal protection cloth 2
You may glue this within 5cm from the tip of the. Since this area is covered by the wire 6, there is no problem even if the appearance is somewhat unsightly, and water will not enter between the end protection cloth 2 and the hose body 1 in this area. When bonding the terminal protection cloth 2 and the hose body 1 at this part,
They may be glued all around, but it is only necessary to fix them to the extent that they do not shift.
~It may be sufficient to simply dot gluing at several locations.

In the fire hose of the present invention, since the end protection cloth 2 is rigid, the length of the end protection cloth 2 is preferably about 10 to 20 cm, which is shorter than the conventional hose. Normally, it is preferable that the terminal protection cloth be of this length; if it is too long, it will be difficult to wind up the fire hose, especially in the case of the present invention, since the terminal protection cloth has a hard finish. This is not preferable because the diameter becomes large and requires a large space for storage. Also, when the length of the terminal protection cloth 2 is less than 10cm,
The hose body 1 is bent at the rear end edge of the terminal protection cloth 2, and the hose body 1 becomes easily damaged.
