光素子で受光し、この受光信号を演算処理部で処
理することにより、前記テープ状記録媒体の始端
もしくは終端を検出するように構成されたテープ
状記録媒体のテープ端検出装置において、 前記受光素子に隣接して外来光のみを受光する
受光素子が配置され、これら両受光素子の出力が
差動増幅器で差動増幅されて前記演算処理部に入
力されるようになされたことを特徴とするテープ
