Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ シールハウジングの両端がそれぞればね力に
    より相互に圧接するシールハウジング側の固定リ
    ングと回転軸側の回転リングとの摺接部で密封さ
    れ、該ハウジングの一端側に冷却液流入孔が形成
    され、同他端側に冷却液流出孔が形成されてなる
    メカニカルシールにおいて、回転軸に固着されて
    上記ハウジング内を流入側空間と流出側空間とに
    区画し、かつハウジング内周面との間で小間隙を
    形成する環状仕切り壁部と、該仕切り壁部の流出
    孔側の側面に固着されて回転軸を取囲む円筒部と
    、該円筒部の上記流出孔近傍に位置した開口端縁
    に沿つて所定間隔で固着され且つハウジング内端
    面との間で小間隙を形成する複数板の羽根とで構
    成されたポンピングインペラーが配設され、かつ
    該インペラーの環状仕切り壁部に円筒部よりも内
    側位置で上記両空間を連通する通液孔が形成され
    ていることを特徴とするメカニカルシール。 ２ 冷却液流出孔がシールハウジングの内周に対
    して接線方向に穿設されてなる実用新案登録請求
    の範囲第１項記載のメカニカルシール。 ３ シールハウジングの冷却液流出孔側の端部内
    面に環状凹溝が形成され、この溝底に冷却液流出
    孔が開口してなる実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項
    または第２項記載のメカニカルシール。
