CONSTITUTION:A resin composition, obtained by blending (A) 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride based resin (e.g., copolymer or graft polymer of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, vinylidene chloride, ethylene, propylene, methacrylic acid ester or urethane resin) with (B) 0.001-1pt.wt. compound expressed by the formula (R1-R3 are alkyl, alkoxyl, OH, H or halogen; M is Na, K, Li, Mg, Ca, Ba, Sr, Zn, Cu or Ni; n is the valance of M) and, as necessary, a plasticizer, reinforcing agent, processing assistant, heat stabilizer, coloring inhibitor, etc., and having remarkably improved weather resistance.

太陽光線やほこり、酸素等の影響により、変色、硬化や
褐変劣化等のいわゆる耐候劣化を起こすことが知られて
いる。

従来よりこのような耐候性の改良剤として、有機酸の金

の化合物ではいまだに十分ではなく、より効果的な耐候
性改良剤が熱望されていた。本発明者らは、かかる問題
にかんがみ種々検討の結果、耐候性の改良効果が著しく
優れた塩化ビニル系樹脂組成物を見出すに至った。
