たエンジン吸気をカークーラーのエバポレータと
並列に接続されたインタークーラによつて冷却す
る自動車用エンジンの吸気冷却装置において、自
動車の加速を検出する加速検出手段と、冷媒を上
記エバポレータ又はインタークーラに切り換える
冷媒切換手段と、上記加速検出手段からの信号を
受けこれが所定値以上になつたとき上記冷媒切換
手段に出力して冷媒を上記インタークーラに供給
するインタークーラ制御手段と、上記インターク
ーラ又はそのまわりのエンジン吸気の温度を検出
する温度検出手段と、この温度検出手段で検出さ
れた温度が所定値以下のとき上記冷媒切換手段に
出力して上記インタークーラへの冷媒供給を遮断
する手段を具えていることを特徴とする自動車用
