- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 プラテン上に載置した用紙の位置を検出機構に
よつて検出し、その用紙の位置に合わせて印字ヘ
ツドを作動させる印刷装置であつて、 前記検出機構が導電性のプラテンと、キヤリジ
の走行方向前側に取付けられプラテン側に接触・
転動する導電性のさぐりローラと、プラテンとさ
ぐりローラとの間の導通状態から用紙の幅方向端
縁部を検出する検出部とを備え、 前記検出部から出力される信号にもとづいて印
字ヘツドが作動するように構成した ことを特徴とする印刷装置。
