At the same time, after inserting a disk and chucking the disk onto a turntable (spindle), the movable arm member is displaced toward the disk to lightly press the head against the disk surface. The arm support member is provided with a push rod that slides when pressed against the spring force of a return spring and whose tip abuts the movable arm member, and the movable arm stamp material is provided with a push rod that slides when pressed against the spring force of a return spring. By providing an inclined surface that is pressed by the tip of the movable arm member to separate the movable arm member from the disk, the movable arm member can be displaced in the direction away from the disk by a simple operation of pressing the push rod after the drive is completed. It has been made possible to do so.

In the disk drive device, the movable arm member is displaced toward the disk side after the disk is inserted (after the disk is chucked on the turntable), and the head is lightly pressed against the disk surface. A push rod is attached to the support member, and the tip of the push rod slides when pressed against the spring force of the return spring and comes into contact with the movable arm member. An inclined surface is provided which is pressed to move the movable arm member away from the disk.
