Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 現像剤を担持する現像剤担持体と前記現像
    剤担持体上の現像剤の層厚を規制する弾性体のブ
    レードを有し、前記弾性体のブレードが前記現像
    剤担持体の回転方向に対して逃げ側に配置されて
    おり、前記弾性体のブレードの長手方向両端部の
    前記現像剤担持体と当接する面に切込みを入れる
    ことを特徴とする現像装置。 (2) 弾性体のブレード両端部における切込みは
    、長手方向に平行で、当接端から０．５〜３．０
    mmの位置にいれ、切込みの深さは、０．５mm以上
    である実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の現像
    装置。 (3) 現像剤担持体は両端を平滑面にしてあり、
    弾性体のブレードの切込み部は前記現像剤担持体
    の両端部の平滑面上にあり、かつ切込みの幅は、
    前記現像剤担持体の両端の平滑部の幅と同じであ
    る実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項または第２項記
    載の現像装置。 (4) 弾性体のブレードにおいて切込み部を設け
    た側の面で、かつ前記切り込み部と同じ幅に現像
    剤担持体と前記弾性体のブレードとの当接部より
    も前記現像剤担持体の回転方向に対して上流側の
    位置に軟弾性体を取り付けた実用新案登録請求の
    範囲第１項、第２項または第３項記載の現像装置
    。 (5) 軟弾性体がスポンジである実用新案登録請
    求の範囲第１項、第２項、第３項または第４項記
    載の現像装置。 (6) 弾性体のブレードは切込みの上から板バネ
    で押えられており、前記板バネは、前記弾性体の
    ブレード当接端では前記弾性体のブレードの厚さ
    を越えない程度の長さだけ折り曲げられており、
    前記折り曲げ部は前記弾性体のブレードの当接端
    より０．３〜０．７mm突き出している実用新案登
    録請求の範囲第１項、第２項、第３項、第４項ま
    たは第５項記載の現像装置。
