Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the speed of image processing by applying an inverting process, a density converting process, etc., to input picture data in parallel with each other and performing the selective output of said processes in accordance with the selection signal pointing an optional area of an image. CONSTITUTION:The input image data obtained through a terminal 10 are supplied in common to image processing circuits 111-11n. These image processes includes an inverting process, a density inverting process, a non-converting process, etc. Thus such different processes are applied to the image data in parallel with each other. A selection signal which instructs the selection of an optional area of a selection circuit 13. The circuit 13 selects either one of those picture data outputted from circuits 111-11n in response to said selection signal and produces the output picture data to output this through a terminal 14. Thus the image processing speed is increased and furthermore a temporary memory place is not needed.
