が固着されていない状態で、前記した回転駆動機
構に中空円筒状磁気記録媒体が固着された場合に
記録再生素子が当接する部分付近の中空円筒状磁
気記録媒体の表面が占める空間の部分に、長手方
向が中空円筒状磁気記録媒体の母線の方向と略々
一致するような態様で位置できる板状のクリーニ
ング部材を取付けた支持部材を回転駆動機構が設
けられている機体に回動自在に設けるとともに、
前記した板状のクリーニング部材を回転駆動機構
の方向に近接する方向にスプリングによつて付勢
させる手段と、磁気記録再生装置における回転駆
動機構に中空円筒状磁気記録媒体を装着させるべ
く中空円筒状磁気記録媒体のカートリツジが挿入
される場合に、中空円筒状磁気記録媒体のカート
リツジの中空々洞状の収納容器の移動に応じて板
状のクリーニング部材を中空円筒状磁気記録媒体
のカートリツジの中空々洞状の収納容器の通路外
に回動させる手段とを備えてなる磁気記録再生装
