  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 連続又は多値階調の濃淡画像若しくは色画像を
    入力して２値化処理する２値化処理装置において
    、 入力画像の画素単位の濃淡データ若しくは色デ
    ータを受取る受取回路と、 複数のマトリツクスからなり、入力画像が有す
    る濃淡の階調数若しくは色の階調数以上の２値化
    パターンを保持するテーブルメモリと、 前記濃淡データ若しくは前記色データに対応す
    る２値化パターンから、処理対象の画素に対応す
    る位置における領域を指定して抽出する抽出回路
    と を具備することを特徴とする２値化処理装置。
