Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of solder and flux by a method wherein a protective sheet is stuck to the opening section of a case, the case is dipped to flux and solder, and mounted to a printed board, the protective sheet is removed, a rotor is turned and electrostatic capacitance is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:Each terminal 4, 5 on the stator side and rotor side of an electronic part such as a variable magnetic capacitor is inserted into a cylindrical case 3 with a bottom composed of a synthetic resin and molded. A cap 9 consisting of the synthetic resin is pressed in or applied from an upper section to the case 3, and set up through thermal welding, etc. An upper opening 10 for adjusting electrostatic capacitance is formed to the top face of the cap 9. Paper, on which adhesives are executed, or a protective sheet 11 made up of an extremely thin resin film is stuck to the opening 10. The terminals 4, 5 on the stator side and the rotor side are inserted into mounting holes 13 for a printed board 12, and fitted through solder dipping, thus completing the title electronic part device. Electrostatic capacitance is adjusted by piercing the protective sheet 11 by a driver for adjustment or peeling the protective sheet 11 and rotating a rotor.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A conventional method for manufacturing rotary electronic components will be explained using the perspective view of a variable ceramic capacitor shown in FIG. 1 as an example. According to FIG. 1, capacitor components such as a porcelain dielectric stator and a metal rotor are covered with a case 1 made of an insulator, and are configured to be less susceptible to dust in the atmosphere and electrical influences from the outside world.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention When a rotating electronic component having the above configuration is mounted on a printed circuit board, the flux and solder used may enter through the upper opening of the insulator case 1, damaging the internal components, especially the sliding parts. This adversely affects the moving parts, making it practically impossible to attach the above-mentioned components to the printed circuit board by dipping in solder or the like.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a rotary electronic component having a case with an adjustment opening at the top, by tearing or peeling the upper opening of the rotary electronic component. Adjust by rotating the rotor. It is attached to a printed circuit board by pasting a protective sheet such as paper coated with adhesive or an ultra-thin resin film, and immersing it in foil, tux, and solder.

Action As mentioned above, attach a protective sheet to the case opening, dip it in flux and solder, and attach it to the printed circuit board.
Since this installation diameter is a rotating electronic component device manufactured using a manufacturing method that involves removing the protective sheet mentioned above and rotating the rotor, flux and solder are prevented from entering the case. This makes it possible to attach it to a printed circuit board by dipping it in solder.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a case in which a stator connected to the stator side terminals is placed in a case made of an insulator, which is provided with stator side terminals and rotor side terminals at the bottom and has an opening at the top. A rotor electrically connected to the rotor-side terminals is rotatably housed on the stator to form a variable magnetic capacitor, which is a rotating electrical component.A protective sheet is attached to the opening, and the rotor is soldered to the printed circuit board. Since the rotary electric component device is manufactured by attaching the above-mentioned rotating electric component without immersion, the protection sheet prevents solder and flux from entering during solder immersion, which may affect the internal components. This is a manufacturing method with high practical value.
