状の軸状ワークの両端部を把持可能に、かつ、軸
方向に移動可能に対設され、対向する内側壁に、
軸状ワークの冷却孔に気密に連通する導入孔を設
け、周壁の一部に該導入孔に開口する排出孔を形
成した対をなすクランプ部材と、上記各クランプ
部材の外側壁に、摺動可能に、かつ、クランプ部
材の導入孔に遊挿可能に気密に貫通保持され、経
時的に圧送される冷却水と水切りリエアとを対向
する先端吐出口から吐出する軸状の対をなす圧送
パイプと、上記圧送パイプの後端を支持して該圧
送パイプを軸方向で、かつ、水平方向に往復移動
させる駆動機構とからなり、軸状パイプの冷却時
、上記圧送パイプをクランプ部材の導入孔を介し
て内側方向へ前進させるようにしたことを特徴と
