部より給紙装置を用いて、用紙を１枚ずつ送り出
し得るように構成してなる用紙トレイにおいて、 前記トレイの底板には、給紙装置に隣接した位
置に駆動ローラを、用紙の他端部付近には補充さ
れた用紙の端部を支持するためのフリーローラを
配置し、前記駆動ローラの上部にピンチローラを
揺動可能に設け、前記給紙装置と底板の所定の位
置には用紙センサーを配置し、 用紙トレイの給紙装置の上部分には、複数の段
部を形成した上シユート部材を配置し、該上シユ
ート部材の段部はそれぞれ用紙トレイの一回の給
紙能力に合せて構成し、 送り出し中の用紙のグループに対する給紙が終
了した後で、次の用紙をピンチローラによつて駆
動ローラに押圧し、給紙部に移動させることによ
つて、給紙の動作を継続させ得るように構成した
ことを特徴とする用紙トレイに対する用紙補充装
