These water-based ink compositions have some compositional differences for IJ and writing instruments, but numerically they contain water as the main medium and ethylene glycol to prevent clogging in the pen tip and nozzle. high-boiling organic solvents such as chlorine and glycerin, colorants such as dyes and pigments, binders to fix the colorants to the recording medium (in the case of pigments), dispersants and interfaces to stably disperse the colorants in the medium. You can't get sex. Therefore, there is a method to increase the apparent drying speed by improving ink absorption. A method of increasing this absorption is to use surfactants, but using surfactants causes the problem of ink bleeding on paper and has a negative effect on the viscosity and surface tension of the ink. A problem has arisen in that the discharge characteristics and operating characteristics of the nozzle are deteriorated.

。(Means for Solving the Problems) As a result of intensive research in order to solve the problems of the prior art, the present inventors found that by adding a specific block copolymer to a conventionally known aqueous ink composition, the viscosity of the ink could be improved. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that a water-based ink composition with excellent absorption properties without adversely affecting surface tension etc. can be provided.
