a television camera that photographs a pattern surface of a printed wiring board placed at a predetermined position of a component placement device; an image processing device that binarizes any connected region of the pattern photographed by the television camera and obtains the centroid; a drive mechanism that two-dimensionally changes the relative positional relationship between the television camera and the printed wiring board;
a storage device that stores the size of each connected region of the printed circuit board and the coordinates of the centroid relative to the pattern reference position; and a storage device that controls the drive mechanism and schedules the pattern reference position from the output of the image processing device and the data of the storage device.
