Claims (1)
壁には、クランク軸の軸線と平行であつて偏心重
錘部を有するバランサ軸の機関本体への差込みを
許容する内径を有する軸受孔が設けられ、該軸受
孔には、前記バランサ軸が軸受孔に挿入、固定さ
れるスペーサを介して回転自在に支承され、機関
本体の前記側壁から突出したバランサ軸の端部に
はクランク軸からの動力を伝達すべくギヤが取付
けられる内燃機関のバランサ軸軸受装置において
、ギヤおよびバランサ軸の端部間には環状の係合
凹部が形成され、軸受孔に挿入されるべく基本的
に円筒状に形成されるスペーサには前記係合凹部
に係合する係合鍔部が一体に設けられることを特
徴とする内燃機関のバランサ軸軸受装置。 (2) スペーサは、軸受孔に挿入される円筒部と
、円筒部の軸方向外端から半径方向外方に一体に
張出して機関本体の側壁外面に密接するフランジ
部とを備え、スペーサの円筒部には、潤滑油を供
給するための通路が設けられ、該通路よりも軸方
向内方側で円筒部外面および軸受孔内面間には環
状のシール部材が介装され、バランサ軸には、一
端を前記通路に連通させるとともに他端を前記係
合凹部に連通させる給油路が設けられることを特
徴とする第(1)項記載の内燃機関のバランサ軸軸
受装置。 (3) スペーサは、軸受孔に挿入される円筒部と
、該円筒部の軸方向外端から半径方向外方に一体
に張出すフランジ部とを備え、該フランジ部およ
び機関本体の側壁間に回り止め手段が設けられる
