(Prior art) Traditionally, when drawing lines on ceramics, glassware, etc., a brush was mainly used, but when using a brush, it was extremely difficult to draw a line of a specified thickness, and it required highly skilled techniques. In addition to this, it is also necessary to frequently apply and impregnate the brush with the required coating liquid, and this together with the problem that it is difficult to perform the line drawing work efficiently.

In order to deal with the above problems, recently, the problem of keeping the line thickness constant and the problem of reduced efficiency has been solved by drawing the required lines using a felt-tip pen filled with coating fluid. However, because conventional felt-tip pens are sealed, the amount of coating liquid that oozes out easily changes due to changes in external temperature, and therefore, the amount of applied liquid cannot be maintained evenly. When the temperature rises, there is a drawback that so-called dripping of the coating liquid occurs, which tends to stain the coated surface of ceramics, etc., and when the external temperature falls, the coating liquid cannot ooze out smoothly.
There are drawbacks such as liquid clogging and blurring.

In order to eliminate this drawback, the applicant previously bent the tubular felt pen body into an L shape, attached the felt pen tip to the tip of the body, and opened the base end to reveal the inside. He applied for a felt-tip pen for drawing lines on ceramics, glassware, etc., which is characterized by communication with the outside air, and was able to solve most of the above-mentioned drawbacks, but in the case of this felt-tip pen, , it is difficult to quantify the amount of coating liquid supplied into the felt pen body, and there is a problem in that the liquid pressure changes due to changes in the amount of coating liquid, and the amount of coating liquid that oozes from the felt pen tip differs. It has been found.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) This invention has been researched and developed to solve the above-mentioned problems all at once, and it is capable of smoothly and efficiently drawing lines of the required thickness. Of course, it is possible to keep the amount of coating liquid oozing constant regardless of changes in external temperature or excessive continuous supply of coating liquid into the felt-tip pen, thus achieving uniform line drawing without coating spots. At the same time, it is possible to reliably prevent the coating liquid from dripping whether it is used or not, and it is easy to replenish and replace the coating liquid, and to clean the inside of the main body. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a felt pen for drawing lines on ceramics, glassware, etc., which has various features such as being able to adjust the amount of coating fluid in the felt pen to increase or decrease as needed in response to changes in the viscosity of the coating fluid. That is.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the felt pen for drawing lines on ceramics, glassware, etc. according to the present invention has at least two branches at the lower end of the coating liquid supply tube. A felt pen nib is attached to the tip of one branch pipe, and a dam is provided in the other branch pipe, and a coating liquid reservoir is formed between the felt pen nib and the dam. , and the distal end side of the branch pipe provided with the dam is open.

(Function) When the coating liquid is supplied into the felt pen configured as described above, the coating liquid accumulates in a fixed amount in the reservoir between the felt pen tip and the upper edge of the dam, and the coating liquid is excessively supplied. The coating liquid overflows from the upper edge of the dam and is collected from the open area. Therefore, the liquid pressure to the felt pen nib is always kept constant, and in combination with the fact that the tip side of the branch pipe with the dam is open and communicated with the outside air, the oozing of the coating liquid from the nib is prevented. The amount remains constant. In addition, when in use, by rotating the felt pen at an appropriate angle around the branch pipe, the position of the dam's damming action can be changed to a higher or lower position, thus increasing or decreasing the amount of coating liquid that accumulates in the reservoir. .

(Embodiment) Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the attached drawings. The felt pen body 1 is made of a transparent glass tube, is slightly bent backward, and has a coating liquid supply port at the upper end. Two branch pipes 4 and 5 are formed in a straight line at the lower end of the coating liquid supply pipe 3 provided with the coating liquid supply pipe 2, and the pipes 3, 4, and 5 are communicated with each other.

Thus, one branch pipe 4 is formed tapered,
A felt pen nib 6 is removably inserted into the tip of the opening, and the other branch pipe 5 has a dam 7 protruding inside near its base, and the dam 7 and the felt A reservoir 8 of coating liquid (e.g., liquid gold, which is a pigment for ceramics) L is formed between the pen tip 6 and the open end of the branch pipe 5 is bent downward to overflow the dam 7. It is configured such that the applied coating liquid can easily flow out and be collected from the opening part 9.

As schematically shown in FIG. 4, the felt pen configured as described above is placed, for example, on a potter's wheel a of a high-speed rotating automatic wire drawing machine (not shown) in the manner shown, and the felt pen nib 6 The required line is drawn by rotating the potter's wheel a while it is in contact with the surface of the object to be drawn (b) such as ceramics or saltpeter placed on the potter's wheel. The contact/separation operation 6 may be performed, for example, by a rotating member schematically shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.

That is, according to this usage example, the felt pen is held at a required position by an arm d pivoted to the tip of an operating rod c provided on the automatic line drawing machine, and the vertical movement of the operating rod c causes the felt pen to be held at a desired position. The felt pen nib 6 is in contact with the surface of the object b to be drawn, and in the inclined position shown in FIG. Since the coating liquid L is sufficiently supplied to the pen nib 6, the required line drawing can be carried out smoothly. Next, when the felt pen is not in use or when replacing the object to be drawn (b), the felt pen should be rotated to the horizontal position shown in Figure 3 or to a position where the pen tip faces slightly diagonally upward. In this position, it is possible to reliably prevent the coating liquid from dripping unexpectedly.

In addition, the coating liquid L supplied from the coating liquid supply pipe 3 accumulates in the storage part 8, but if the supplied amount is excessive, it overflows from the upper edge of the dam part 7 and flows from the open part 9 of the branch pipe 5. Since the liquid is drained and collected, even if the coating liquid is continuously supplied into the main body, the amount of liquid in the reservoir 8 is always constant, and therefore the felt pen nib 6
The hydraulic pressure applied to the wire can be kept constant, and a uniform line can be drawn without spots.

Furthermore, if the viscosity of the coating fluid changes due to changes in the outside temperature due to changes in the climate, for example, the viscosity of the coating fluid may become lower during high temperatures in the summer, and the amount of oozing from the felt pen tip may be greater than the specified amount. In this case, as schematically shown in FIG. 5, the portions of both branch pipes formed in a straight line are rotated from the state shown in A to the state shown in B in the same figure, so that the damming action of the dam part 7 is improved. By lowering the position, the volume of the liquid in the reservoir 8 is reduced to reduce the amount of liquid, and the liquid pressure applied to the nib is lowered to adjust the amount of coating liquid seeping out from the nib to a predetermined value.

In the above embodiment, an organic solvent-resistant transparent glass tube is used for the felt pen body 1, but a transparent plastic tube may be used instead. The issue of transparency is not an essential requirement of the present invention, as it is used for the convenience of confirming the capacity, condition, etc.
