成る給紙装置において、 前記給送経路に配設され、該経路上に用紙の有
無を検知する検知手段と、用紙の先端を検知して
からの時間を測定する計時手段を備え、この計時
手段によつて測定された時間が、予め定められた
所定時間以内に次の用紙の先端を検知したとき前
記給送手段を停止させるとともに、所定時間に達
したとき再始動させる制御部とを設けたことを特
