Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

In a sub-silencer in which an outer pipe surrounds an inner pipe constituting a part of an exhaust system that connects an exhaust manifold of an internal combustion engine and a main muffler via a resonance chamber, the inner pipe is surrounded by a cover pipe within the resonance chamber. A silencer for an internal combustion engine, characterized in that a plurality of holes are formed in an inner pipe within the cover pipe.
